Disappointing.
I have small hands so am always in search of hot mitts. These are a better than usual fit but no where near as heat resistant as several others I've used. For example, heat can be felt when holding cookie sheet from one side to other much like a cloth pot holder. I would not buy again and would return if I could. I'm still searching.

Just OK
The gloves barely fit my large hands. When I wear them, my hands sweat and it is hard to get the gloves off. Also, the fingers don't bend easily so it is hard to pick things up or handle BBQ tools. After about a minute I can feel the heat through the glove.

Bought these for grilling and they actually work! I was tired if burning my hands all the time, but I no longer have to worry about that. You can use them inside for the oven or the grill. Access to the fingers makes them preferable to an oven mitt.

Needs a size increase
I don't consider myself to have unusually large hands, nor does my wife. However, for both of us, the thumb on these gloves is considerably too short. When our thumb hits the end of it's space, our fingers haven't gotten fully into the glove, odd. Also, the thumb seems at a strange angle, like it's too far apart or splayed from the rest of the fingers. The gloves are fairly tight around the palms, which makes them tricky to both put on and take off, and they feel tight in use. Altogether, these are nowhere near as comfortable as a typical kitchen or BBQ mitt, which we have in cloth, leather, and silicone. I do wish the cuffs extended a little farther up the arm.All that said, the Drako Hands do provide considerably more dexterity than using a mitt, because of the individual fingers. So that's a big benefit, as is the ability to easily clean them and use them in boiling water, or even put them in the dishwasher. The heat insulation is really exceptional on these gloves. Holding a hot pan just taken out of a 375 degree oven, I could only barely detect a slight warmth after holding the pan about 20 seconds - much better than our silicone mitt. At that rate, the pan probably would have cooled before it ever became uncomfortable to hold. I'm glad I went with the thicker silicone of these and the accordingly higher heat rating, since I plan to use them with our charcoal BBQ which can easily get into the 500-600 degree range.

A bit bulky, took 1-2 times to "adjust/get used to", but definitely resists heat. Husband likes too. If not used as a true glove, it can be used for many other heat-resisting.
