Worst Mats Ever!
Very disappointing purchase! I purchased two of these mats for our freshly coated garage floors. When they first arrived, I was a little disappointed in the quality. The mat is basically a large piece of felt-like material. It came all folded up with deep wrinkles. I still wanted these mats to work so badly that I was willing to look past wrinkles. I laid the mats out and to my dismay, even further, was that they were cut all crooked. Seriously crooked. It appeared they were cut by a machine (obviously) and the material must have bunched up and the machine just chopped it the way it came through the roller. No quality control whatsoever had been done prior to shipping to me. I still was willing to overlook this because I have some heavy-duty scissors that did cut right through the heavy material and with a straight edge and chalk I was able to straighten them out. This is just not right when these mats are as expensive as they are. I should not have been down on the floor making them even. And, just so you know, they were not just a little crooked, they were very crooked; one by 8 inches, the other just a few ... but still, unacceptable. It was unacceptable by anyone's standards. So, I purchased these mats in June and am just writing this review now. Why? Because I have had it with the crappy quality of these mats! A negative review is now warranted! It is now November in Seattle and the pine needles that have accumulated on the mats cannot be ignored. We have tried everything to get the needles up: shop vac, sweeping, hand-vac, house vacuum; which is now ruined, I might add. The main problem is that the needles weave their way into the felt-like material and stick like you would not believe. Aside from hand-picking the 10 million needles out, they will not budge! I'm getting new mats and they are going to be rubber. Unless you live in a climate of no pine needles and debris blowing around, these are horrendous. Do not buy.

Does the job for my application
I built a 12' x 20' shed for motorcycle storage and a workshop. I needed something to cover the wooden floor so that when I pull in a motorcycle when its raining outside, the floor is protected. I had ordered the 20' but received the 17' foot instead, however Garage Flooring LLC remedied the situation without a hassle, and very quickly. I ended up covering the entire floor of the shed with a second 17' mat and am very happy with how it looks and feels. I have not tested the water resistance yet as it has not rained, but I have no doubt it will provide much better protection than leaving the floor bare ;)I don't have a problem vacuuming the mat as long as you raise the vacuum so the roller brush is higher and you keep weight on the mat with your feet around where you are vacuuming. The edges are the only hard part to vacuum as they have a tendency to get sucked into the roller more easily. The felt doesn't appear to be lifting off the mat but maybe after many many vacuums it may thin out, time will tell.

Good Value for the Money
This is pretty easy to use in your garage - just unpack it from the box and roll it out - you may need another person to stand on one end, or something heavy, to hold it down as you straighten it out and position it where you want it.I like the heavy rubber bottom that goes against the garage floor, and the carpeted top that feels good if you are barefoot, as it keeps it in place. I also prefer the darker color of the carpeted top as when the inevitable oil or other fluid drip hits the surface, it's not very noticeable and avoids the stain being the focal point of your garage floor or underneath your car. It also does a good job of absorbing the rain water that will drip from your car when you bring it in all wet.If you're looking for good value for you r money vs. the higher-priced mats here on Amazon, I would recommend this one.

Don't believe everything you think you see.
I had purchased 3 smaller mats for my garage and wanted something larger, so seeing this one under the car I thought it was the same type. So I order two to cover 2/3 of my garage. The order was delivered promptly by UPS in 2 not so large boxes. I knew I was in for something I hadn't counted on before opening the boxes. Two thin, sprawling pieces of rubberized backing covered by some felt. I kept them, put them down. It's impossible to vacuum them with my vacuum, pulled off the felt, wrinkles the whole mess. I just didn't want to go the the trouble of packing them, taking them to UPS and paying $25.00 for shipping. Disappointments like this are the best reason I don't order from AMAZON. It's sight unseen. I can't get 5 to work. This is an RPM, Inc. Product Drymate garage floor mat. Iona Tuley

Fills up Quick! Not for big vehicles
This mat works exactly as advertised, but I've got a full size truck. On snowy days it doesn't take more than a couple trips into the garage for this mat to get saturated. It would be very nice if they offered a wider size. That being said, a bigger mat from another company cost twice as much as for just two extra feet in width. I'm going to end up buying another one of these, cut a 3-foot strip out of it, and see how that works. I'll use the extra matting for me doors.

They Just Work
Update 9/6/17Still going strong after 3 years with no tears or deterioration. Have washed hem a few times and they work flawlessly through Northeast rains and winters. No second thoughts on my purchase.Original Review:.I was very skeptical after reading some reviews here and noting far more expensive mats out there but gave it a chance. I was very pleasantly surprised. Rain and significant snow just gets sucked up by these mats. My garage used to have major puddles that needed a wet vac to clear but with these mats, this winter not a drop of water hit the garage floor.I only bought one at first but after seeing how well it performed, bought one for my wife's car. They ARE thin, so I don't know about longevity (had the original for about 1 year) but so far, I'm very happy.
