There was a lot of mystery and blood in this story but it was balancedwith sizzling hot sex and tender caring. Lucius is a very old soul withheartbreak in his history and Selene has known nothing but pain andheartbreak. Selene was trained with pain, to be an assassin, her onlygoal is to kill the Vampire King Lucius Frangelico. Once she is boughtby Lucius though, she finds a very different man than she expected.I loved how sensitive and tender Lucius was with Selene, even hispunishments were sensuous and very sexy. Lucius was also targetedby his made vampires, those he turned into vampires he considered hischildren, they are planning to destroy him and take over his power.Selene is just another in a long line that hope to destroy Lucius.The one eyed vampire, Xavier is the one that trained Selene. There areenemies everywhere, but the very old and powerful Lucius is more thanready for anything they have planned for him.I totally was engrossed in this story, it wasn't as scary and viscious as Iwas expecting and I loved Lucius and Selene together. I never gave a thoughtto putting the book down once, I had to keep reading to see what would happennext and I was never disappointed!

This is the twelfth book of the awesome Bad Boy Alphas series and I loved it. Lucius, king of the vampires has appeared in the last book or two of the series but in this book the love story of Lucius and Selene, a werewolf, takes center stage. From the beginning Lucius and Selene have undeniable chemistry and it only grows stronger as the story progresses. They each have their own agenda but ultimately it all ties together in this hot and steamy romance with a bit of mystery and suspense. The writing is great, as always, and I couldn't put this book down.

I love the books by Renee Rose and the Alpha Bad Boys are my favorites. Alpha’s Blood stood out for me in the series of stand alones. I got caught up in the first chapter and didn’t put it down until I finished. Renee writes so well, her stories pull you in and hold your attention all the way to the end.This is the story of the Vampire King and the wolf shifter beauty he purchases at an auction. But she’s not a captured slave, no, she has other plans for this king. Will she be successful in her mission or will she give in to the allure of the handsome, enigmatic king? Find out in this fun read.

I first have to say that I literally have ALL of Renee Rose's books, so I don't give this one a low rating for no reason. I love her stories. Others have outlined the plot, so I won't go there. However, I found this story to be . . . plodding. Nothing much seems to happen. For mortal enemies, the H/h come around rather quickly and I never truly believed that the heroine would every kill the hero. I found the heroine, especially, to be weak and annoying. We are TOLD she is an alpha, but nothing in her actions speak to that. She folds every time she is challenged.Overall, meh, I would give this one a pass.

A vampire king, a she wolf bent on misguided justice for the death of her pack. Just okay, not a action packed page turner. BDSM components. HEA. At the end of the book, you get a 1 chapter teaser......for the book you just read. Seriously.

I loved this book!! The characters were great. The story flowed and kept you engaged and there was not a lot of unnecessary angst. I read a lot and I don't offer write a review, but I felt this book deserved it. It was really great!!!

I don't usually read vampire stories, and the only reason I read this one is because of the series and the authors. They managed to turn a vampire villain into a hero, and write one of my favorite books in this series.

I normally really enjoy books by these authors but was disappointed when the story ended at 74%. Then there was repetition of the first chapter...what? I realize that according to the reviews I am in the minority, but I wanted more from this story than was delivered.

Chemistry and passion so strong!!Selena had one goal in her life to kill the Vampire Kill for killing her pack!! She had been trained for years.Vampire King Lucius Frangelico was fed up of life although he was under constant attacks he had lost the get up and go. He used woman and then just gave them away that was until he went to a auction and saw a feisty wolf shifter on stage and knew he had to have her. And he wasn't about to let anyone else touch her.So far so good the king had won the auction now she just had to kill him. But there was a problem. He made her feel things and forget why she was even there. Could she go through with there plan?? Lucius can be caring or he can punish. But the one thing that is strong about them is the chemistry the share. But it isn't only Selene he has to worry about, his so called children are trying to kill him and he must stay alert.This is one great read. The plot has everything you want and need from Selene and Lucius story. I really liked The sassy and feisty wolf shifter but what was even better was how the relationship changed between Selene and Lucius. Its hot and passionate but its oh so much more and it made my heart scream.Another fantastic read from Lee Savino.!!I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

It was a good read. BDSM with a supernatural flare I liked it.The reason for the four stars however is because the ending from the club scene where Lucius saw the video of Selene, it felt rushed slightly and I want a fanBut the epilogue was the best part it gave me such badass hybrid vibes from Selene and I adored it. At that part Lucius reminded me of Klaus from the originals a true vampire king (even though Klaus is a hybrid) alongside his hybrid queen and then the final line was great and I'm glad bc the authors didn't suddenly forget the BDSM element like some authors do

This is a very exciting and unique take on supernatural and BDSM. I find the three misfit shifters to be so much fun, but surely they deserve a happy ending too. Maybe a special funny female alpha to join them in a Menagé set... I am very happy with the Vampire and his wolf shifter. This story was both erotic and exciting in the storyline. The auction makes another appearance, the Vampire BDSM club and the one eyed vampire all appear again after previous appearances in previous Alpha bad boy books. It's a tiny bit disappoin disappointing the bear who was searching for the one eyed vampire didn't at least get a phone call from the misfits or the Vampire king to tell him it's done. The wolves asked the Vampire king to help with the Shifter auction... So I think they should also get to be a little involved in saving the Shifter s. I liked this story. I am looking forward to the Midnight Dom series and the multiple various authors who will add their individual take on the idea of a supernatural BDSM club.

I really enjoyed this, I was fascinated by Lucius, King of the Vampires from a previous book in this world, so loved finding out about the real him. Dominant, alpha, powerful, handsome, ancient, ruthless, hot and......bored. Can Selene, the little not so submissive wolf shifter hold his interest after he buys her at an auction, when she's obviously keeping a big, dangerous secret!Sexy, steamy, mildish bdsm but with a great paced storyline and action throughout. It was easy to read, well written and made me want more from this world.4.25 stars

As always these two authors manage to produce another amazing book to tease, titillate and thrill!Selena and Lucius are amazing characters, both are so strong and love so fiercely that they will drag you through the ups and downs of their story making you cheer them on every step of the way!MUST READ
