Goal Line Paperback – Illustrated, August 27, 2013

My son loves this book.

My eight year old son lives and breathes football, and this was the perfect series for him. From the first page, he couldn't put it down. Well written and engaging, Goal Line teaches kids to Play Proud, work hard, and achieve their dreams, no matter how big the dream or how small the child. I can't recommend this series enough. It and all the books in the series are Accelerated Reader books as well, which is a wonderful bonus.

i got this for my sons 11th bday. he prefers most things to reading, but he read this book in 2 days and the price was good so i rate it 5 star. as far as the story i dont know but it got him reading

my 9yr old loves sports and loves all of these books! highly recommend to help get sports loving kids to want to read!

Goal Line is a book in a wonderful series about two boys who play football for a ninth grade team and have troubles along the way.In this book Tiki and Ronde are playing football and right before practice Tiki is happy to learns that he won the essay tournament where he had to write an essay about a famous saying. But, the next day he learns he has to write a advice column in the school newspaper . What will Tiki do so he can still have time for football, school homework, and the column? I recommend this book to people who like sports. I would give it 4 stars because when Tiki needed to make the bus he dodges other students using his football moves which was pretty cool .Another thing that I liked about this book was that they give a saying like play proud or good things come in small packages.

My son absolutely loves all of the books written by the Barber brothers. Great for a child who loves sports. Appropriate for 8 -12 year olds.

Bought these for my son he who loves football. He absolutely loves reading these books. We have bought all the books they were so good. I purchased the used books and they came in great condition.

My son truly enjoys the reality of these books and facing real life challenges that a young athlete can have.
