Djellaba of Chefchaouen is a product of Moroccan handicrafts, is different from the other Djellaba of the atlas regions. It belongs to the family Djellaba of Rif, characterized by its weight because it is made to protect the Amazigh men of the region against the cold during the winter. Materials: 100% wool By inspiring the old Djellaba and creating a new style innovated by the young craftsmen of Chefchaouen. This Djellaba - coat in the photos above represents the real mix between everything traditional and modern. The young people of the city use this new style of Djellaba throughout their daily lives. Almost all djellabas of both styles (male or female) include a baggy hood called QOB (Arabic: قب) that comes to a point in the back. The hood is of vital importance to both sexes because it protects the user from the sun, and in ancient times was used as a means of defense against the sand being blown into the user's face by strong Desert winds. In colder climates, such as in the mountains of Morocco, it also serves the same function as a winter hat, preventing heat loss through the head and protecting the face from snow and rain. The hood and also used as an informal pocket during times of fine weather; It can fit loaves of bread or grocery bags. Do not hesitate to ask any information about this product or other items.

I Recommend it- sleeves are shorter than I am used to.
Well made but sleeves shorter than ones I bought in Morocco. But I wrote to them and they said they would send extensions. Haven’t received them yet.Very nice material and except fir sleeve length, it is excellent.
