Different mittens than advertised
I have a pair of 6mm Hyperflex mittens and ordered 2 pairs based on success with my last pair. I received 7mm crypto mittens, both pairs unboxed/ no packaging and they are creased. Haven’t tried them out yet and hope the creases didn’t crack any seams.

Good mitts to kite in really cold weather
If you are a kiteboarder and you are considering these mitts, you probably already kite in cold weather, and know that hands and feet are the weakest link.I had two session with these mitts. I kited at about 30F air and 30F water in Feb in New England, and they did a very good job. Obviously, they are mitts and you will miss having the flexibility of 5 fingers (or 3, with lobsters claws). But for really cold winter kiting, I have not found a better hand protection than these yet. Despite their thickness, they are very flexible, and I did not get tired after 2 hours of kiting. I had tried 7 and 5 mm gloves, and fatigue was the reason for me to return them.I certainly recommend them, if your sessions are short in winter because of cold.

Warmest gloves I've ever owned
I kayak Whitewater rivers in the winter. May hands are ALWAYS cold to the point of painfulness. These are the only gloves I've found that can keep them warm. My only issue is that they don't come in a large size. The Mediums cramp my hands after a while. I need a little more space in the finger area. BUT, these sure beat aching cold hands.
