Bogus to Bubbly: An Insider's Guide to the World of Uglies

SUPER LOVED reading about all of the concepts and ideas within the Uglies Series!! There were AMAZING moments of inspiration that the author explains in detail and it really helps to bring a much deeper understanding of this series!! LOVED IT!!!:-)

Ever since I read the books and discovered the existence of this one I wanted it so badly!I'm soo glad I got it. I've loved this series ever since I first read it back in my mid-teens and have shaped who I am and what I view of life, and have not failed to read them again at least once a year. The emotional parts always get me even though I know to expect them, the story and the technology and the system involved is soo intriguing and hey--It could be possible in some distant future.For any lovers of the series, I hugely reccomend this guide to further learn about the world. It's absolutely worth the money.

If you really loved the ugly series, thus book will interest you. The author really goes into detail about where he got his ideas from for characters, technology, and the like. I recommend it!

I found that being privy to the writers process was very satisfying in that it helped me to feel closer to the characters, strange as that my seem! Yet having been intrigued with much of his writing, and all of the trilogies I may have been reliving my own childlike imagination. This in itself became spell binding to me. I thoroughly enjoyed this authors work and if I had teenagers would be the first to introduce them to his world.

This book is great if you want a summary of the uglies book series or if you want to learn more about the stuff in the uglies series. Warning! this book contains spoilers of the whole series. If you are currently reading the series get this book after you read the series. I love this book

I am having a hard time reading this last book - I think each "explanation" of each story, should be somewhere (in each novel) either in the prologue or in the end explaining the objects, titles, etc. This way it's kind of late to tell what half of the "objects" and "titles" mean - some you can figure out, others are kind of a wild guess. Sorry I purchased this, a waste of money and I could have done without it - I can read a book in 2 days if it's good, but this has so far taken me at least a week and I'm only half way thru - cannot get really "into it". In fact, I don't think I'm going to bother finishing it - will just throw it out.

This was the perfect elaboration on Tally's life. I would suggest reading all four books before reading this because it says a lot about characters from all of the books. Way to go Scott Westerfeld!
