HUSAN A1321 Replacement Battery for MacBook Pro 15 inch A1286 (Only for Mid 2009 2010 Version),fit MB985 MB986J/A MB986 MC118 020-6380-A

After ordering the battery, I inspected the battery. All seemed ok, supplied with 3 screw drivers and a warning as to how to fit the battery connector and how not to.Installed the battery. The screw holes are not perfectly aligned with the screw holes on the Mac book pro.Either the left or right hole align but not both.I added one screw as I did not want to damage the thread inside the MacBook by screwing in the 2nd camera.Put the battery on mains to charge overnight. Next day, took mains off and found it had 100% charge.Took laptop into sitting room on my lap and went onto a browser page as need to download an account statement.I got webpages freezing and finally the image froze as per the attached picture. I tried to close down the webpage to turn the laptop off straight away, but my MacBook Pro was completely frozen. After several minutes, I had no choice but to close the laptop down by pressing the shut down button. After a restart I had the same problem but also found that the PC's various programmes were slow and would not react.By this time, the heat from the battery was so hot through the PC's bottom casing that I had to lift it off my lap.Decided there and then that there is a serious issue with the battery and kept the laptop shut down.Alas, what a crap piece of product.I have spoken with Amazon and explained the above. Been advised to contact the manufacturer and report back if I don't get a reply from them 3 to 5 days after sending my email.Easier said than done, if you cannot find an official email address on the internet when searching HUSAN Tech.I am now taking my MacBook Pro to Apple to have an official Apple battery fitted and find out what damage has been caused by this HUSAN battery.Will update soon on the outcome of Apple report.

Took 5 minutes to remove and refit the battery, powered up with no issues and took a full charge. Have let the laptop unplugged for the last 3 days - used the laptop a couple of times - down to 18% so far. The old battery would not have lasted 24 hours unplugged so there this is a great improvement.So far so good - happy with the purchase - happy to have a laptop that can be used without having a power lead permanently attached.

The battery cables are too short. They allow the connector to plug in but doing this prevents the battery seating correctly. You can screw the battery into place, or connect it, but not both!! Don’t buy this!

I have a 2012 MacBook Pro where the battery had died meaning I could only use it when plugged in, which was most inconvenient. My laptop was no longer supported by Apple due to it's age, so I spoke to an Apple specialist who quoted me £90 to replace the battery. I decided to investigate on YouTube how easy it was to replace the battery myself. It basically isn't that difficult really and takes very little time too.I ordered this and received it the very next day so had my old MacBook Pro up and running again 24 hours later!

Was a bit nervous about buying a cheaper better than some of the other brands, but I was very happy to find that the battery was well packed and contained the right tools to perform the installation of the new battery.The instructions were clear and I had the battery installed in a matter of minutes.The only concern I had was that the battery arrived without charge. However an overnight stint on the charger sorted that out.Coconut battery now reports a healthy battery, and the performance of my Mid 2010 MacBook Pro has been restored!It’s been a few weeks now and it’s still doing the business!

Item as described, with a very good price. Easy to install with instructions, and specialist screw drivers supplied with battery. I just have it a couple of months, and so far it is a quality product. Would have no hesitation recommending this item to friends.

Easy to fit, same brand as some repair shops use. Tools supplied were a bit flimsy. I can’t say how long it will last as only just fitted.

Great product, full compatibility with my A1286 2009 MacBook Pro 15”.Was good to have three screwdrivers provided too for all varieties of screw that are used over the years.
