I normally wear a 7 1/2 wide in a shoe, wide at the toes, narrow, and short at the heal. I ordered these Sloggers in the 8. With socks on these fit like a glove. They don't move up and down on my heel as I walk. They're not scrunching up my toes. They fit great! These have a very solid sole, another plus in my book. Working around a small farm, having a pair of waterproof shoes that fit so well is awesome! Other reviewers have mentioned the "short" heel on these shoes. They're correct, but that short heel fits my short, narrow heel just fine. I also do not think I would want to wear these without socks because they're made of a solid material. In other words, they don't breath, and would probably cause my feet to sweat. If I can remember to do it, I will update this review in the Spring after I've had a winter to test them out in. My hope is that these will last a long time. We'll see.Update, it's July 2018. I've been wearing these shoes through Fall, Winter, Spring, and well into the summer. The only draw back is they are not suited for cold gound. In other words, they will not keep your feet warm during the winter, while working outside. They do keep your feet dry. I love these so much that I bought a second pair to keep for wearing on those rainy, running errands days. The second pair goes well with my blue jeans, and again, keep my feet dry, and here in NC it's been a rather wet summer. As for the first pair, nothing is wearing out on these shoes!

Wonderful purchase! I leave them right by the door so I can slip on to take dogs out during our recent rainy days in Massachusetts and also use for flower gardening! They are easy to slip in and off, are quite comfortable and my feet don’t get the least bit soggy!! I even find them cool, comfortable, supportive, yet spacious on our 90 degree days! Extremely happy with this purchase! (I thought they might be really hot…NOT! True to my size 8 fit! I will keep in mind as gifts for outdoor and gardening loving family/friends! These sloggers are great. I am usually a 7.5 to an 8 depending on the brand of shoe. I went with a 8 in these. They fit good it's possible a 9 might have worked as well I just wasnt sure about slippage. These fit like a glove ( no room to spare). Comfort.... um they are ok. I did not find them to be super comfortable per many of the reviews. I think I had an expectation that they'd be more comfortable than they are. It's not that they are uncomfortable, they feel fine, like gardening shoes, nothing special, is all. As for funtionality, they are spot on. Easy to slip on and off, they keep out dirt, water, etc. I even dug up a tree in these and hardly felt the shovel thru my shoe, so theres that. I will definitely be buying more sloggers as they are the best shoes I have found for gardening. I might try going up to a size 9 and using an orthotic insert for my troubled soles.

What a great looking rain shoe ! I have problem feet with arthritis and these are very comfortable with great support and 100% waterproof. They definitely have some weight to them but that is not a con. I wear a 7 1/2 and went up to an 8 after reading reviews and very glad I did. Perfect fit. I like them so much I don't wait for rain to wear them ! I'm definitely getting the ankle boots, just have to wait for them to come back in stock.

I have never purchased the Sloggers brand before, but I knew that they had a good reputation. I must say that I am very pleased with these shoes. They are true to size - I wear a size 8 and they fit just as they should. There is a slight arch in them in just the right spot, perfect for the average foot. And they are CUTE! The shoes they replaced were sort of a dull olive color, so I was very happy to find such an attractive pattern. The price was reasonable as well. I doubt that I will be buying anything other than Sloggers in the future.......but since I expect these to last a long time, it may be a while (unless of course I decide I need a second pair for the back door......)

fantastic.comfortable and snazzy

Bought them to replace a pair I had purchased 10 years ago and lasted until recently, and they are perfect. I even wear them in the winter. No more cold, wet feet and wet runners. Highly recommend them. Lots of nice colours and patterns to choose from now.

I like the support that I get . The fact that the shoes are vinyl is handy for wet weather and when watering the garden. Socks are a must though otherwise your foot sweats and that's neither healthy nor comfortable.Th sole seems to have a decent tread. The shoes seem very well made.

I'm a nurse in the community and these shoes are awesome.Comfortable, waterproof and great for slipping on and off. Ive received dozens of compliments from my clients.
