The first thing I did when these were delivered is to put a piece of cardboard in them and test the cutting with a box cutter. Sliced right through and gouged the cardboard. It is extremely dangerous and irresponsible to sell a product with false advertising.

I have a pair of these, and use them religiously after cutting through two different 'kevlar and leather' "cutproof" gloves.They are very good - you can push the tip of a knife through them, through the open weave, but they are almost cutproof. Actually placed one of the pair on my workbench and ran a woodcarving knife over the glove on the bench several times pressing harder each time, and could not cut through the surface.

First day of having these, my son cut his thumb bad with a whittling knife. Cut right through the glove!!!! He needed 4 stitches!! I dont think you can call these cut resistant at all. Extremely disappointed in the quality and safety control of this product!!

I have been using a really sharp knife and slicing my thumb repeatedly while cutting foods. This has saved me! They're easy to rinse off and keep clean. Wish I had them three nasty cuts ago!

This product definitely does RESIST gentle cuts and slashes, but too much more than a gentle slashing can cut through them. I really like these gloves for cleaning fish. I only wear one on my L hand but the gloves can be worn on either hand so I get 2 for less than the price of one if purchased elsewhere. I don't know of any easy way to clean a fish cleaning glove. I usually put mine in a jar with some baking soda and water, shake it up, then add a little vinegar. Wife will still get mad if I let it dry in the kitchen. Bonus is that they are pretty much cut proof.

I did not realize they were sold in pairs so I bought 2. I don't regret that since they are very nice and now I have a back up pair. I'm a fry cook so I can say the heat resistance is legit and they are very breathable every time I take off the food safe gloves I wear over them I feel an instant cool breeze. I even took a pocket knife to the palm. These are level 5 protection confirmed! I liked them so much I bought one more pair for my Mom. :) 6/5 Stars
