Great pins for quilting!
These are the best pins for quilting and came recommended to me by someone who has been quilting for over 40 years, belongs to a quilt guild and had won many contests. You can pin with thm and the iron over th pin head because being make og glass they do not melt like other types of pin heads can.

Great pins
The only reason I gave this 4 stars and not 5 is the length. They are very smooth and push through easily. But it would be great if they were made in 2 and 3 inch lengths.

Good pins for sewing
I can't say if they're good for quilting, but for regular garment sewing, they're great. Thin enough that they don't punch huge holes in fine fabrics and I've only found 1 bent one so far in the pack. They also haven't torn up my knits.

Super smooth points, very sharp!
I make lampshades mostly crafted with silk. These pins are the only ones which do not snag or pull threads. Super smooth, sharp points. Stronger than they look. I wouldn't use anything else. Easy to see, also.

Some of the glass heads have fallen off
It's okay. A few of the glass heads have fallen off. That's no good. Definitely keep these away from kids, for that reason.

Not as super fine as I would have expected
Dull. Not so super fine. I would have thought these pins would have slid through the fabric easily, but they were kind of dull. You get what you pay for. I would not purchase these again.

These are my favorite pins to use for piecing quilt tops
These are my favorite pins to use for piecing quilt tops. The red heads are easy to see against the fabrics I choose and easy to hold.
