Ding Dong Doorbell Walky Talkies
I got this doorbell system because I get Amazon and UPS deliveries and I don't like missing when packages get dropped off at my front door. But I also don't like having to go to the door every time someone is ringing. We get a lot of people coming to the door trying to sell things too.The installation of this doorbell is very easy as it uses a very strong 3M double sided tape to mount it. I would have liked to see a way to split the main doorbell unit open and screw it to the wall instead. But if you have a flat wall, door, or a door jam you can mount this to it. I would like to note that you need to mount it where you can access the battery door at the bottom. If you mount it against a sill or something like that you wont be able to put the included Philips head screw driver into the battery door to open it and change batteries about twice a year (if that depending on use). The main unit runs on 4 AAA batteries where as the inside doorbell receivers (2 included) come with rechargeable batteries and a charging docks. The dock uses a standard USB micro connector which is nice. Still, I would have liked to see either a charging cube or some type of included power block provided with the kit, but the manufacture did include 2 USB power cords to use with your phone or other device charging cube. Still, you can get a simple charging cube for anywhere between $.99 to $5.Operation of the doorbell unit can't get any easier, Push the door bell button on the main unit, and the 2 receivers ring simultaneously with the electronic tone that you have selected from a list of ring tones. There's also a volume control in case you have the receiver sitting close to your ear on a table. Once the doorbell rings the user inside simply pushes a push to talk button in the middle of either of the two receivers and can then speak with the person at the door. After about 30 seconds of no voice communications between the main doorbell unit, the system defaults back to ring the door bell again. In other words, you can continue to speak with someone at the door for as long as the two of you like, so long as you don't take more then 30 or so seconds between pushes.Another pretty cool feature I found with these doorbells was the ability to push a button on the RECEIVER and make it ring the door bell on the other receiver unit. This makes it so you can also use it as an intercom between the two receivers. Say you have one upstairs, and one downstairs, you can now pick up the downstairs unit and 'ring' the person upstairs. When they answer you can then speak to them like an walky talkie or standard intercom system. This feature was very unexpected, and I found it very helpful for when my wife wants to call me in from another room or call me into the house from the backyard. I simply carry one receiver with me, and she keeps the other with her.The distance on these units (Main doorbell, 2 receivers) is VERY good. I have been able to put them about 150 feet plus apart, through walls, and still have a clear signal between units. This means that if you're in the back yard, and have your receiver with you, if someone rings the front doorbell you shouldn't have an issue hearing it ring, and answering it with the receiver.Over all I'm very impressed with the system and think that it's going to be a good replacement for my old wireless doorbell system that had no voice intercom system. I can't wait until this manufacture comes out with a version that has a camera in it too!

Not quite ready for Prime Time
The first thing you must know is that this set of devices is basically Push to Talk-PTT walkie talkies. In other words the party on either end of the conversation must push and hold the talk button down to talk. There's even a little label that comes in the box stating "Please Hold to Speak" to attach near the outside device. Needless to say I was hoping for a system where the inside party pushes the button and a two way exchange occurs without reciprocal button pusing. However, I can see that some folks won't mind a PTT system at all.Second thing: The door bell, is EXTREMELY LOUD! Even on the lowest setting. During my test run of the devices I must say I thought the volume level of the bell or music is quite startling and annoying. Wow!Last, the manual and even the instructional movie were obviously prepared by English as a second language staff causing some communication gaps. Not really a big deal because most of it is pretty easy to figure out. This device has many good qualites. Basically, what you get for a very reasonable price is a decent set of three PTT walkie talkies. And, the quality of the transmission is loud and clear. The build quality is good, too. They will probably last many years if handled properly. In the end I returned this product and am still looking for a high quality wireless full duplex door bell and intercom. Until I find one, I will continue to shout through the door at strangers who come knocking for unknown reasons.

Doorbell with intercom is excellent for a detached studio, office, or above garage apartment.
Works better than expected!!! I rent a detached studio, and when I order food (now more than ever thanks to Covid-19), I had to wait for my landlord in the main home to text me that my meal had arrived. But thanks to this doorbell with intercom system, not only am I able to attach my own doorbell to the main house, so I can talk directly to the delivery drivers, but now I also have an intercom so that my landlord and I can page and chat with each other! The pairing process was easy, and the intercoms have plenty of volume and ring tones to choose from, so you'll have no problem hearing them... plus they light up. The package comes with double sided mounting tape and two chargers for the intercoms, so the only thing you'll need is 3 AA batteries for the doorbell. The intercom feature is a real bonus. So much better than just having a doorbell.

Easy to install and portable
I'm 66 years old and this doorbell setup is perfect for me.The two receivers are a great idea for those of us who have trouble remembering where we put things once in awhile, haha. The receivers sit nicely in the recharging unit and you can also carry one around the house with you. You can choose the ringtone you prefer. You can speak between the indoor receivers. Pairing was incredibly easy! The doorbell is a very nice size and very easy to see. This brings us to the one- I found and it gives you a chance to be creative on this solution. The doorbell is NOT waterproof. It is well built and the batteries are double-covered, so I don't think a few drops of rain will put it out of commission. I'm thinking of a small wooden house frame, painted with an eye-catching color, that will stick out far enough to keep the rain from falling on the doorbell. I'll try to add a picture of the doorbell when I get the "house" built. This is a very nice package, whether you are a senior citizen, or not there yet. Ease of installation, great battery life, and portability make it well worth the price.
