Madagascar (Country Explorers) Paperback – January 1, 2010

Good book to introduce Malagasy culture to children. This book introduce culture, food, and customs of Madagascar.

I wanted something short and sweet about Madagascar and this book is it! even for adults. Really a child's book but so helpful getting a general idea of the country, language, culture, history and great pictures.

This book is a few pictures, a few pages, nothing really. Nicely done nothing.......if that is what you want. I wanted a guide book and should have looked more closely before buying.

We checked this out at the library, but plan to buy it for our daughter. I've lived in Madagascar, and this book was spot on about the culture and language. The pictures were wonderful too!
