Mark Twain the Genus
Yes, the genius. No one else could or can replicate his way. I have mentioned to friends this reading and they give me the “look.” Why, I read this when I was a kid. And I say read it again. Mark Twain lives today for us to live another time. Thank you my good friend.

Classic
Awesome classic! This is the longer version with adult language, but is a historical book and I think is still worth watching.

MARK TWAIN
The stories are from a forgotten time when racial slurs were acceptable. I deleted these stories from my Kindle as the slurs were bothersome to me personally. However, these are classics and I do not feel they should be banned or buried.

Still wonderful, second time around.
Just as good in the re-read as when I first read as a child, quite a number of years ago! Always worth it to go back and enjoy a classic, especially when one has read many, many books, and memory has been cluttered. I plan on rediscovering a lot of the classics, now that I have a reading device.

A rare depiction of believable characters and their adventures—or misadventures!
I love it! It's character driven, with lots of mini-adventure-plots to keep the reader entertained. Mark Twain has such a gift for unique and descriptive language—not to mention an interesting vocabulary. To top it off, he recreates words, then strings them together to illustrate that country bumpkin-clodhopper atmosphere, which generates a more vivid sense of his characters.

Tom & Huck
The first 2 books in the Tom & Huck series were delightful, but the last 2 books were starting to drag on me. Felt like I just wanted to get them over.

I can't read, but the picture on the front cover is nice.
Very nice picture on the front cover of a boat with people on and there is steam coming out the top as it goes over yonder. The people seem to be different from each other. The boat is on water and it is in the day time. There are trees in the distance. This book was written by an author and was published afterwards.

A decent set of stories
A decent read but of course the language is dated and somewhat detracts from the enjoyment .Otherwise it fills a couple of hours of leisure time. It's not a book I would reread.
