So, I ordered a size up and it’s perfect with room to grow. Be warned that this dress is that thin, stretchy, kind of cheap feeling fabric you get with so many sellers on Amazon. Depending on the product I’ll sometimes send it back. But because our kids aren’t allowed to wear a PE uniform to PE, and they make them do it outside in FL in the heat ...:/ ...I’m keeping it! Maybe it will keep the poor kid cooler when she’s running a track in 85-90 degree weather! LOL!

Dress is cute, I got it in the purple and it's a really pretty shade. My daughter normally wears a size 5 but I chose a 6-7 just in case and she definitely has room to grow, so I'd say it runs pretty true to size. The material IS clingy and may not look great on all body types but should be fine for most little girls. ETA: After the first wash (I washed it by itself, cold water) the dye of the dress stained the white collar so it is no longer pure white, but has a very faint hint of purple. It's not a huge deal to me but something to look out for.

I purchased this for my daughter's band concert for school. It is conservative enough for the "fingertip rule" the school has. I think the white collar adds just the right amount of detail.

We ordered the long sleeve black dress and used it for the Nanny costume in a 101 Dalmations play. I originally sized up and it was clearly a size too large for my average sized 11 year old...will be reordering the 11/12. Plenty of stretch. I would recommend for a costume, but not for regular wear. It is very synthetic in feel and appearance. I would never wear this material so I wouldn't want my child to wear it...but that's just me. Price was reasonable. Will donate to music program for future performances.

Perfect Wednesday Addams costume. My daughter wears a 12 and it was just right. I recommend this dress.

We needed an Anne Frank costume for school wax museum and picked this one out. Great dress, loose comfy material but fits well and the flare is perfect. You could wear this for another occasion, overall cute dress for the price and good quality!

Looks just as pictured. It's true to size. It is a little longer than I expected but will still work. Using for a Wednesday Adaams costume for my daughter.

Cute dress for Halloween, but you could easily wear it normally too for a formal event. Nice fit, good quality.

The purple runs Into the white collar.. So disappointing. My daughter is a big 3 so I brought a 5-6 that's fits perfectly.. Buy a size up..
