Malala Yousafzai (A True Book: Biographies) (A True Book (Relaunch))

My third graders were inspired by Malala's story and righteously angry at her treatment. The text in this book is written appropriately for my students to read with some assistance.True Books does a good job of using student-friendly text features that help children to have access to information of interest to them.

Such a brave little girl. As an adult I have heard all bout the wonders of little Malala Yousafzai. She is a rely roll model and a hero.This book is written for children to learn more about this international hero in a way they will understand. This book is straight forward and to the point. It goes through this young hero's life and the struggles she had to overcome to get to where she is today.Children, especially those living with many freedoms, do not realize what others need to overcome. This book takes one girls bravery and tries to help kids all over the world understand.A great book. Easy to read and understand.
