Reading this after watching the anime really shows you how much filler is produced. I will definitely keep reading over watching(only for the fight scenes). Love how the manga really showcases everyone's abilities in comparison to one another. Now I see how this is a great sequel.

I dunno how you could give a bad review for a manga....unless it's something you're reading for the first time...I digress.. This is a manga that takes place after the fifth ninja war and Naruto becomes Hokage and has kids. This is about his kid (Boruto) and Boruto's relationship with Naruto and everyone else around Boruto. The only MAJOR difference in all this is the art. It's done by someone else which is somewhat of a small let down but, you get used to it. Love Naruto and probably anything that involves Naruto.

Boruto volume 1 largely adapts content that the movie and the tv anime told, however, in the manga form, as I will describe, it is a decent albeit lacking start. Mainly, the events that transpire would feel more interesting and impactful if we had been with the new characters from the start of their time at the ninja academy to the run up for the genin exam…since we are thrown right into things, we don’t get any sort of connection establish with them. Sasuke and Naruto are present and Boruto as well and to an extent Konohamaru, but well, we are already familiar with them through 700 chapters but everyone else, well were here for the first time. I kind of wish it went with what the anime did and started sooner.Otherwise, the manga, beyond that is a good, interesting, and fast read. There were about four chapters here, and separating them are character profiles with stats, which are a little debatable in terms of the strength and intelligence metrics. There are no extras at all.

I love it! I love it! I love it!I am glad this is out because I was really sad that Naruto has come to end. This is a great way to full in that void that Naruto had left. This first volume is pretty nice. I like the artwork too. I seriously don't understand why people throw so much shade on the new Boruto series?

Good book. First time reading a manga in the Naruto/Boruto universe. I enjoyed it and can’t wait to read the other books.
