A Touching Original End to the Series that Affected Me Greatly
The *K-On* manga series originally ended on volume 4 with the original members of "Afternoon Tea Time" (the name of the band comprised by their school's pop music club) graduating. Fortunately, there are are two more volumes released by the mangaka in the end. But some of the dynamic is different for those last two volumes, and the ending here in this one is happy but kinda sad too. As a reader, this was a bitter-sweet moment for me.I tend to be a somewhat weepy person, at the same time that crying annoys me. I know, it's contradictory. It's like one part of my brain wants one thing and the other is yelling at it that it wants something else. Wierd, huh?Anyways, this was a happy, but sad volume. It ended with the graduation of the four senior girls and seeing them move on in life. They are about to head to college. I admit that there was some jealousy there. Though fictional, the characters reflect the hopes and dreams we all have. Hopes and and dreams that as you get older you realize might never occur. Hopes and dreams you sometimes missed out on yourself. That is my case.So for me, the weepiness was compounded by this jealousy. Neverthless, it was a fun series and I enjoyed the quirks of the characters. Perhaps it was just how much I cared about these characters that makes things so very difficult both in terms of envy and of my heart breaking. I don't want the story to end.The consolation I have is something that does strike a real-life chord with me. As I stated above, the series does go on. Kakifly (the mangaka's pseudonym) has written two more volumes, one dedicated to Azusa, Ui, and their friend keeping the pop music club alive, and one dedicated to the graduating girls at their prestigious women's college. The is something I can hold onto, that life goes on in reality just as it does in fiction, and there is always joy still to be had in life. At the same time, there is melancholy that the girls are separate, just as in real life with such things. I kinda share that melancholy that Azusa feels at the end of this volume, with hope for the future.I know this review was more about me than the book, but I hope that is okay. Blessings. You will enjoy this sweet ending to the high school story of the original membership of "Afternoon Tea Time".Rating: 4/5 Stars.

It is the senior year (bring all cliche)
It is quite simple, if you bought this volume, then you already read/own previous 3 volumes and by then, you know you LOVE this series. Whole notion of writing a review on the last* volume of this or any series seem silly, but you get what you want from pseudo-conclusion in this volume. Big four graduates in the end, leaving poor Azusa to rebuild the club and yes, they all have rather stout build, but I consider that to be refreshing change from typical "overly thin with well-endowed top" trend. This is not the true end of this series, so sit tight for Volume 5, whenever it may come.

Left me wanting MORE MOE!
Vol. 4 of K-On sees the girls entering their last year of High School. As they write new songs, and worry about leaving Azusa behind, they touch your heart with their friendship, and enthusiasm for life. In a world increasingly filled with doom and gloom, K-On is the slice of life we all yearn for.Pick up a copy of K-On Vol. 4, and sit down for After School Tea Time's final tour...

Great near-ending of this tale
This is a hilarious manga. Great art, adorable characters. Coming close to finishing the story completely. There is supposed to be a 5th volume to this, and I hope it is translated. =D

Buy it for the silly!
The series is very short so don't fear multi deca packs of takubans to buy and besides, innocent fun is rare these days.

Sweet
If you've bought the 4th volume it must mean you love this awesome series already. It's just as fun to read as the previous 3 installments so help yourself to the fourth and final* volume.*I say final because this is where the Anime version (their high school life) comes to an end, but*the story diverges into 2 parts after this. Hokago Tea Time and their university life and Azusa/Ui/Jun and their senior year in high school.

K-On Manga
K-On is a great Manga, it holds interest and is well drawn. These books have some colour pages and some traditional black and white pages, this does not detract from the story. It also has an explanation page at the back for Japanese sayings. I also have the DVD's now that they are avaliable and they are great fun.

Muito divertido
Ótimo livro, sempre divertido.Infelizmente as 6 páginas iniciais vieram coladas mas eu consegui desgrudar elas com uma régua, somente as 2 primeiras estragaram parte do desenho. Não vou devolver.
