Nice little tool that did the job
I had an existing pin tool, with a 1.0mm pin which didn’t fit a new watch. I bought this because it has a 0.8mm pin, and it worked perfectly. No problem about it being made of plastic as it does not need to exert that much force. Compared with my other tool which has a long pin that will push the pin all the way through, this one has a short pin, which requires the use of pliers to pull the pin out, once disengaged. As it has a smaller diameter pin, it being shorter gives reassurance that is less likely to bend.I like it.

Not worth the money
It's okay, not too much difference than the Chinese ones, maybe a little better built and the attachments feel sturdier, has some sort of risers that position the hole at the position of the instrument

It broke almost immediately.
Used this to take one link out of an Omega Seamaster 300m. This operation necessitated the pushing of 2 link pins. On the 2nd pin, I heard a crack while winding. On unwinding, it was apparent that the metal pin pusher had snapped and was now inside the watch link. Had to push the link pin back in from the opposite direction to extract the pin pusher. Managed to complete the job but as far as my experience with this product goes, it barely lasted one operation. It was essentially useless and in the bin 45 minutes after opening it. Poor build quality. Poor value for money.

Makes removal of bracelet pins a doddle
I read some other reviews about this product and they have complained that this one (except the pin) is plastic whereas you can get cheaper ones that are all metal.I can't help but think that there is actually less likelihood of scratching the bracelet with this one - and indeed that was why I purchased it.What I do know for a fact that this is lightweight, but also is more than sturdy enough for removing the pins from bracelets - and if you've ever struggled to remove them with a spring bar tool - you'll be amazed at what a doddle this makes it.It comes with a couple of brackets - and I must confess I'm not 100% sure what these are supposed to be used for, although in another review someone mentioned that they assist positioning some of the thinner bracelets. I guess this could be true - but I haven't used them.So if you want to avoid having to go to a jewellers to adjust watch bracelets that are the non-screwed variety - I would highly recommend this.

The Bergeon 7230 watch pin remover is plastic no metal
I am not happy. The price I paid for this item I expected it to made of metal not plastic, other pin removers costing a lot less are made of aluminium so I do not see why this one is so expensive?.

Bergeon 7230 Watch Bracelet Pin Remover
This replaced the dodgy plastic one in my watch kit. The Bergeon item cost almost as much as the watch kit but you immediately feel that it is a quality item. Very sturdy and does not wobble about. Far easier to use.The old adage “you only get what you pay for”certainly applies here. Worth every penny.
