Q-SnapFrame Extension Kit SFEK

Had numerous 11x11 Qsnap sets. Wanted to try the larger size snaps to see if I liked them and they would work in my Lowery stand. They are working great, and with the extensions I have worked with 11x14 and today I am working with 11x17, so far very satisfied with these extensions

and on up the experience ladder. This is perfect for those projects that I need a little more working room. Always high quality and easy to use. I have been doing counted cross stitch for over 20 years and in my experience the Q-snap frames are best for working on both aida AND linen fabrics, leaving no "dents" or over stretching on the fabric. With this type of frame it is very important that you do all bead work last and some of it may need to be done "in hand" so as to avoid any possible damage to the beads. This is the only draw back I have ever heard of with the Q-snap frames although I have never experienced it myself even when I have used it to finish off my beading.

Clamps are a little tight, but I believe they will loosen with use.

I bought several different sizes so I could build the size I needed. Works as stated. I love the product. Price is good, too. These cost twice as much at the big hobby/craft stores.

This was a gift for my 83 yr old mother who was becoming frustrated with handling her cross-stitch projects. She saw the large frame that I was using to quilt and thought it would be easier for her to hold. She is very pleased and has a renewed interest in one of her favorite hobbies. I purchased for her a smaller frame and this extension which has proven to be very useful. The "snaps" can be a bit difficult to dislodge as they are quite tight.

I wasn’t sure if this would work for me,but the extenders were perfect. Increased the size of my q snap frame by 3 inches, which was just what I needed for my stitching

This will be the same review as the 6", 11", extension set, 17" etc...Where have these been all my life????I love to do small hand quilting work and Embroidery. I have always used those round, oval frames wondering why there wasn't a square one that would not smoosh my already finished work as I moved it around to continue.Then I saw these.Yes, I was skeptical. Very Skeptical.Now I have the 11", 8", 17" and extension kit. That pretty much gives me any size I need. You can mix the 8 or 11 or 17 to make a rectangle if need be.No turning, re-stretching the project.The frame comes apart easily when you want to put it away for storage. It does not come apart easily when working on a project.

working on a larger cross stitch piece and these extensions to my basic Q snap set is perfect! Easy to add on and the entire system is the best for needlework. Keep projects tight and secure, but easy to remove when needed. Excellent product!
