Blue Moon: The Immortals

Was Left wanting MORE! Loved it
Alyson's Noël's bestselling Immortals series has been hailed as "addictive" "beautiful" "haunting" and "mesmerizing." In the second installment, Ever can bring her family back from the dead--but only if she's willing to sacrifice the guy she loves more than life itself.Just as Ever is learning everything she can about her new abilities as an immortal, initiated into the dark, seductive world by her beloved Damen, something terrible is happening to him. As Ever's powers are increasing, Damen's are fading--stricken by a mysterious illness that threatens his memory, his identity, his life. (Summary from book and Amazon)My ReviewAlyson Noël (Alyson Noel)does a great job with this sequel. She continues with her beautiful writing style, in the way she creates the world in a way you see it, like really being there yourself.I'll tell you, one thing, you better get ready for a wild ride that is filled with twisting paths and mystery, love and fantasy. The Immortals Series is so unique; it's like a breath of fresh air... I was on the edge of my seat, and stayed up late at night, to get more of Ever and Damen!Blue Moon is a book so intriguing that you won't want to put it down. It will stun you as you read on to know about Ever and her mysterious past and future. We get some answers to questions that we had in Evermore, but then more questions will come up as well.I enjoyed the chaos playing in Ever's world as she tried to figure it all out and fight back against Roman who had some odd vendetta against her and Damen.Make sure you read Evermore first, then this one.I highly recommend this book, especially if you like magical worlds, with twist and turns. It will leave you wanting more.

great sequel, a must read
What could possibly happen in the second installment of "The Immortals" series that would be unique? The first book managed to be engaging and fascinating, but was close enough to other YA novels that I couldn't understand what could possibly continue the storyline without being trite and overdone.Noel surprised me with 'Blue Moon." This one was just as addictive as the first -- I finished the book in one sitting. The immortal love between Ever and Damen is challenged --by Damen's own disinterest in Ever! Damen's aura has returned and Ever can read his thoughts, an they aren't nice. Damen fantasizes about banging Stacia and labeling Ever a stalkerish freak. Ever, horrified, is on her own to reclaim (and save) her love.I love that Ever is a strong heroine. She's not a wimpering Bella, waiting to be saved by her knight in shining armor. And while Ever makes plenty of mistakes, at least they're her own. This is a wonderful followup to "Evermore."

Highly Recommended!
I am a huge fan of vampire/immortal related books and was VERY happy with this series! I was absolutely hooked on "The Immortals" series and couldn't put the books down - I had a week of very little sleep for a week reading this series as I had to see what happened next! There is romance and suspense. I am a huge fan of the Twilight series and Vampire Diaries books and didn't think I could like any other vampire books as much as I like those but was wrong....out of the dozens of books about vampires/immortals I have read, this is one of my absolute favorites. I highly recommend this series!

Young Adult Paranormal Romance
Ever and Damien's story continues. To be honest, I wasn't sure I wanted to read this book, but I had already grabbed it, so I decided to read it and check it out. I hope there is more romance in this book, more on the Ever and Damien, and less on their drama. This book starts off funny with her learning how to use her physics powers. Their steamy scans are still on hiatus, and she seems to struggle with more than kissing. They are still in high school. There is a lot of past and Jess lousy in this Bonn that she must get over. But just when she starts, Damen starts having an episode of strange behavior, almost like he is sick. But immortals don't get sick. This gets curious. She does find the answers; however, she sacrifices a lot in her quest to save him. I can't believe how twisted this gets; just as I thought it would be full of teenage drama instead, it is full of life or death drama. She makes a bunch of wrong choices, which lead to an awful ending. I mean, they do both live, but I wouldn't say what comes next is living in their immortal romance. This book was a very young adult paranormal action/ adventure. The characters and maturity of the story were definitely written for a younger audience. What they assumed was a huge deal actually probably wasn't, and some of the choices were very selfish. This book has a lot of hot and cold relationship drama as well as outside influence drama. I'm not sure I'll be reading the next one in this series. The book just didn't have everything I was looking for with the epic paranormal romance.

how can you not love this series??!!
I don't understand how anyone can not LOVE this series. I'm not going to delve into too many details about this novel as it is a sequel and don't want to give anything away, but i LOVE the immortals series so far. Alyson Noel has completly changed my mind as far as disliking paranormal books and i'm starting to really get into this genre again. This book kept me enthralled and i didn't want to stop reading. I cannot wait to pick up the third book! If you haven't read the immortals series yet, what are you waiting for?

ALISON YOU PUT STEVEN KING TO SHAME!
I loved it and hated at the same time. I dont know what is going to happen next but I have never been tormented by a book so bad (and I mean that in a good way lol). There was somthing about this book that just made it tooo hard to put down. Even though it had a tragic ending I just wonder how the author is going to clean it up in the next book. I still have hope in Ever and Damen. Hey look at the bright side it cant get any worse... or could it?

Great Book, Great Price
This book has a very good story to tell, I would recommend people to buy this if they like Teen fiction or sort of mystical type books. Great value for this great book. If you want to read this I recommend reading the first book in the series: Evermore - the Immortals.
