This yarn is so great!! It’s the perfect basic yarn for any project! It does break occasionally while you’re using it, but any yarn will. I made these ADORABLE frog hats using it. It’s the perfect thickness and color. It came SO FAST!! Three days early!

Very good and extremely soft although one of the three skeins had some plastic residue on it that looked like it came from the factory. Thankfully I was still able to use that skein but it’s frustrating to see someone so visibly messed up being sold.

I'm going to be a grandma again and need soft pretty yarn. Carron is the best to buy.

Caron Simply Soft (CSS) in Pistschio colorway is a nice light green with a warmer undertone than the light sage colorway. It is not ad bright as the stock photo makes it seem. I am pairing it with Dark Sage and either Bone or Off White for a blanket, as white looks too bright and black doesn't quite seem to fit with the greens. If you want to do a 4-color mix with purples, I recommend Purple, Lavender Blue, Dark Sage, and Pistachio. This color does not coordinate well with Light Sage or Sage, as they make it look too yellow-ish.CSS is thinner than worsted but thicker than sport weight yarn.  For knitting it is absolutely delightful, but for crochet it takes some finesse.  The yarn has no elasticity at all, so I find that I have to use multiple hook sizes depending on the stitch I am making - sometimes two hooks in a single stitch - to maintain consistent tension appearance and avoid large holes at the tops of stitches.  The direction of the twist is ideal for knitting, so the 4 strands frequently untwist as I am crocheting and I have to take care not to split them or accidentally catch my hook on just 1.  It can get properly tangled, but it's easy to untangle because it has a very "slippy" kind of texture; a quality which requires that every stitch be worked through at least two loops to avoid the final fabric developing huge holes and tight knots at the top of your stitches, so I have adjusted my procedure for when a pattern calls for FLO or BLO.  Your finished fabric will feel nice almost no matter what you do with it, but you will need to adjust your hook size if you are making stitches with largely varying sizes becausd you cannot adjust enough just by holding the yarn tighter (trust me on this one, save your hands the pain.)Overall I still really like CSS, and have none of these problems at all when knitting with it, but I just don't recommend it for absolute beginner crocheters.  It can definitely be problematic to work with if you are not prepared to face the challenges it presents.10/10 drape quality for this stuff though.  Imitates silk blend yarns I have used pretty well.

I am making scarves with other "left-over" Caron Simply Soft yarn and needed other colors. Great color, price was OK and I didn't have to drive to a store. My local store did have a sale running for 4 Caron Simply Soft skeins for $10. This color was not available in that sale.

This yarn has no knots, works up great and is easy on the hands. I had to reorder because the bBY blanket I made sold before my craft sale. Beautiful color!

I've used this product many times before. Very soft and durable. I'm currently making a baby blanket and this yarn is perfect.

Soft, easy on the hands and the eyes with its sheen. Quality yarn and will buy again.
