Scout's Campfire Cookbook for Kids (Falcon Guides)

When they say " The Conners' "Wrote the book(s)" on Dutch Oven cooking, they really meant it. Tim and Christine are the real thing, and this cookbook is the real thing. Great, simple, and most of all GOOD recipe's. It is a mainstay in the RV for when we Dutch Oven cook.

My son used two recipes from this book this past weekend. He used the lava cake and the Paul Bunyon Apple pies. He used Kinnikinick Gluten Free Bread for the latter. It was the first time he and another GF scout were actually able to eat with their patrol. They were ecstatic. Oh and he cooked green eggs and ham. So we can't comment on the other recipes, we are very happy with these.

I guess I was expecting it to be more camping style of food but aside from that my Son is enjoying it.

Great for Dutch oven. It is not for the casual camper!!

Great cookbook with a lot of ideas my grandson is using in his scouting programs.

Excellent! Many, many fun recipes to try. Easy to read and understand. A must for any camp out!!!
