Works Great
I put this on my 1959 Chevy Pickup with 235 6 cylinder along with a Weber 32/36 DVG manual choke carburetor. This old truck has never ran or started this good since my son had it or since I've had it. The installation of this ignition was easier than I expected. I did it with out having to pull the distributor out of the truck. I had my doubts about how this ignition would work, seemed too easy and simple. The truck started right away. I very impressed with this ignition system. I also got the Flame Thrower 40,000 volt coil to go with this. I would recommend to any one, every thing for the ignition looks like stock.

Had to be modified
It calls for 6 cylinders distribuidor however I didn’t fit on my pick up truck!. I customized and is working grate!. Anyone looking to retrofit this item to 195ihs M37 it works just fine with light modifications.

worth the upgrade
Made a big difference in this old 216 along with the flame thrower coil. I did have to readjust timing though but starts on the first crank definitely recommend this over points.

Lights right up now!
Installed in '55 chevy 3100 truck to replace points. Truck fires right up now, no hesitation. What a great upgrade! Have not run it long enough to review reliability, but there are warnings regarding leaving the ignition on in the documentation. Only gripe is that it is an expensive upgrade, though probably save money in the long run on points cleaning and replacement.

Quick and easy install!
Installed in 5 minutes with Pertronix Flame Thrower coil. 1954 Belair fired off more quickly and smoothly than ever! So much better than the old points setup it replaced. The grommet that comes on the wires also fills and seals the hole the wires run through (where the stock bakelite insulator was located).

Package crushed
Manufacturers box the item arrived in was completely crushed since, Amazon decided to use a plastic wrap instead of a box.I will install and hope the item is not broken. Bad decision not boxing a $200 electrical item.
