I needed to replace the grips on the stoker handlebars on my tandem mountain bike. We don't ride it a lot so I just wanted some cheap grips to replace the deteriorating ones from the factory. When these arrived I was really impressed though! They were well packaged in a bag, inside a box with correctly sized bar end plugs and an allen wrench to install them. I cut the deteriorating old rubber grips off the bars with a razor and these slid right on and tightened down nicely with the clamps. No need for hairspray or alcohol or any lubricant to get them on, just slide on and tighten the clamps so they don't spin/slide. They feel comfortable and have the correct amount of texture for grip. There are certainly nicer grips out there but for the money I think these are a fantastic value. I got the blue ones and the color is pretty much spot on to what it looked like in the pictures. I'm very happy and considering a second set for the captain bars on the same bike.

The two biggest problem with conventional grips are that they are a pain to install and they will twist under pressure. These solve both issues brilliantly. They just slide on to the handlebars as long as the collars are loosened and once you tighten the collar screws, they aren't going anywhere. These have a really nice feel to them. If you have never tried lock on style bar grips, you are in for a treat and will probably convert all of the bikes in your house over.

have to say im a go to for odi and i stripped the bolts and got mad these were cheap and honestly a solid replacement for the useless grips i wasted 20$ on to strip on accident but these are solid, you can flip them to be more//less grip and they are 10$ kinda a no brainer im using them on a mountain bike and they are good ill come back for these once i need grips again

I bought these to replace the worn out grips on my Dyno Air that I was fixing up so my son could use. The grips installed pretty fast and the clamps seem to hold them in place pretty well. My only problem with them is that the rubber is pretty hard, not at all squishy. That combined with the little pin knobs that are used for grip, makes them quite uncomfortable on longer rides unless you are wearing gloves. Next time I'll get the pillow top grips that I have on my ATV. The end caps don't like to stay in a standard bar end either.

For the price, you can’t beat them. Easy to install the end caps could be better, but these will last for a while. The aluminum will get scuffed up, but that means your kid is being active and enjoying their scooter or bike. Easy to install. Overall...pretty happy.

While bike grips are literally just that, these do seem to be pretty great for so cheap. Once you tighten them down they do not slip. The color is accurate to the picture "thank god". However the only reason I removed one star is the allen screws that tighten them down do seem to be of a weaker metal. I stripped one screw out semi easily, luckily they are right where they need to be on the bike. I would however buy a more expensive pair of this type of bike grip only for hopefully stronger screws. But building a budget fixie, these definitely do the job! Shipping in one day is just awesome!!!!!

The grips are nice, but the allen screws are cheap and will strip if you use the supplied allen key. Use the one from your tool kit or from a mechanics set. They are slightly longer than the ones I had on and are much thinner, which I kind of like. Overall, can't complain for spending $8 compared to $30 for "nice" ones.
