Nice Workbook
This is an easy book to work with. It is straight forward and easy to follow along. My 8 year old does this work independently. The pages are fairly thick and the book is pretty solid for a soft cover. I would recommend this if you're just starting to work on cursive writing.

Great for teaching and reviewing
I am learning to do some handwriting skills of my own for card making and writing my own messages. My penmanship has taken a tragic decline and I wanted to brush up on my skill. I also have a nephew that I know will not be taught cursive in school and I am committed to him learning cursive. Thank you to the author that made this book. the only thing that would make this better is if the pages could be removed and given permission for making copies.

This is the cursive book you want to get!
Greatest cursive for kids practice book there is! My daughters did 2 pages/day until they made it to the joke section where they wanted to do as many pages as I would allow! Ha! The cute pictures and fun jokes kept their cursive practice positive. Their cursive improved greatly, and no tears Highly! Highly recommend!!

Not as Good as the Print Version by Same Author
We were excited to get this book because we have been using the "The Print Handwriting Workbook for Kids: Laugh, Learn, and Practice Print with Jokes and Riddles," and we love it. I am disappointed with the cursive version because it doesn't have jokes on each page like the print version does. I motivate my daughter to do handwriting by having her read the joke first, and most of the pages of this book don't have jokes. Like the print version, the cursive version has high quality paper and some fun pictures. I would have given it five stars if there were more jokes.

What we will do this summer since the schools don’t feel it’s important to teach our kids cursive 🤗

Teaching Cursive
My fourth grader has not been taught cursive in school, this has really helped make sense of how to create letters and put them together in words in cursive. Very well done guide book!

Underwhelmed for $25
The spiral bound edition was $19 plus $4 shipping and then tax made the total over $25. I was expecting more pages for each letter. I'm planning on making photocopies of each page for added practice.

Different letter shapes to what is being taught at school and missing lead in lines.
We bought this to help our five year old with his cursive writing, but soon realised the letters in it were different to what he was being taught at his school, so it wasn’t really for us. Make sure the letters your child is being taught match the letters in the book you buy. The letters in the book don’t show all the lead in lines used to join the letters either. The book starts with letters of the alphabet, both upper and lower case, then moves onto full words up to nine letters. The end of the book has some jokes to copy. The first dotted outline of the letter is numbered to show the correct sequence to create the letters. Then they just trace over the dots. The book states its aimed at seven plus. Our five year old could manage the single letters as these letters are much larger, but most of the book is for an older age group.Well made, although the printing is quite heavy. This is a problem with the longer words, especially as the first example has arrows numbers and dots, being quite small they are not very clear and difficult to read. There appears to be different forms of cursive writing so make sure the book you buy matches what they are actually being taught at school or other books you have. There are better and clearer cursive writing books available.

Effective
Improved my son's handwriting. No good looking to the school system to do anything about handwriting until they are in at least year 3. Has taken a year to try and get him to form his letters correctly due to bad habits not being corrected from the start. Using cursive, means he can't start his letters from the bottom, and has to go from the top. He enjoyed the jokes!

There is no capital letter A,M and N.
Good delivery. This book is perfect for the cursive writing but there is a issue i have noticed it.In capital letter cursive writing, there is no capital letter of A, M and N. Just a second letter of A, M and N.I think this mistake someone notice or not I don't know. So, i am going to return this book.

US PRODUCT - DIFFERENT CURSIVE STYLE TO UK TEACHING
We are returning this book, not because it isn't nice, but the style of cursive writing is slanted forwards, which is how they teach in the US. In the UK, they tend to teach a more upright format, so this is what we will be looking for. The items in the book are US centric i.e. spelling and Q for Quarter (with a picture of a coin), but if you are happy for them to learn this style, then it seems a lovely book!

Nice progress through the book
I like how it starts with just the letters before working onto words then sentences and finally jokes. We are working through slowly a page a day which means just five minutes or so and making lovely progress. Plenty of space for practice including tracing.
