The British Virgin Islands: The Hometown Lowdown Guide to Travel and Taste

This guide book on the BVI's was somewhat helpful but a bit long winded on the recipes and ingredients. I was hoping to be told of some cool, hidden gems to eat at and see but the author was too busy telling us about the origin of the native vegetables and dishes. Not highly recommended if it's your first time to the British Virgin Islands.

I found the travel tips and suggestions an excellent resource, and the emphasis on supporting local BVI businesses, restaurants, and farmers to be refreshing. Also, the new 2007 version has pictures! I look forward to more publishings!!
