Expensive price tag for a cheap product.
Bought this to go into my Orthopedic joints clinic, it looks like it belongs in a grade school classroom. Returned at once.

Great shoulder anatomical model for patient education
I bought this for patient education for my practice. When I moved, bought it again in my new practice. The price on Amazon is MUCH MUCH better than through medical supply companies. My practice paid over $150 more because they are not allowed to purchase from "non-approved" vendors. The rotator cuff muscles are removable. There are holes in the muscles that fit into pegs on the bones. Although I don't often remove them, I can imagine that after repeatedly removing them, it could get loose. The different colors show the origin/insertion of the muscles. It also comes with a booklet to explain the muscle origin/insertions. The shoulder joint moves in abd/adduction and flexion/extension, but there is no internal/external rotation. The model has the rotator cuff muscles and a bendable representation of the biceps tendon (non-removable) in a groove with a representation of the transverse humeral ligament (non-removable) holding it in place. It is great for describing dynamic impingement syndromes, rotator cuff injuries, or injection locations.Overall, great model. My only complaint (and reason for removing a star) is not being able to demonstrate internal/external rotation. I would recommend this over the regular bony models (without the muscles). It is heavy but I feel it makes it solid and durable.

a model! with nothing labeled, no paperwork and nothing except an almost $400 price tag
How do you learn anatomy off a model if it has no labels and the supposedly included app does not actually let you access it after registering the product as per the instructions??Someone called it a grade school model. Well..they are all cartoon-y, because they are models and not cadaveric examples...but no paperwork or structure key/list? Absolutely useless. Like, remarkably useless.
