I liked that it is metal as it is getting used in a travel trailer. Even though it has a narrow rubber/silicone ring on the edge of the stand, it is not big enough to provide traction when sitting on the mouth of the carafe this I have to hold it already. I've attached a small potato chip bag clip to the edge of the holder base and grip that. I have been experimenting with the ratios but still haven't been able to get it to taste quite right.

For years I have used a porcelain pour over cone. I like my coffee hot, but the porcelain cools down the water as it runs through so slowly, which is due to only two holes at the bottom. This metal cone absorbs and retains the heat longer. The coffee runs faster through with or without an added filter.In addition, the porcelain model is heavy, falls over making a mess because the base does not completely cover the cup. This metal cone sits in a lightweight stand which not only covers the whole cup, it has a rubber ring making it nonslip. So many things I like about this model, and I should mention it is very easy to clean, too. Great purchase!

Why do you ask general questions that don't apply to an item? That's why people Don't take the time to rate or review items. Give the customer some mental credit to know how to prepare an objective statement about the item and time to use it. This is a coffee filter used by people that make coffee, not a paint pour through filter. It's a replacement after 2 years. I have no idea about Goodiez or Supplygoods or the Amazon pickers, packers or drivers.

This worked as designed for a while before the upright metal stand/frame broke off from the base, as with another reviewer who left a photograph.I sometimes still use just the cone in wide-mouth clear containers smaller than the top rim, but it doesn't work well in my larger capacity (6 cup?) Chemex because it's too small and slants at a crooked angle.Some clogging occurs in the fine mesh, so I occasionally need to boil the entire thing in a solution that helps with such matters. It holds up well to boiling.

We got one of those instant water boiler things for Christmas, and I thought this would be a good way to get my mom to quit with all the non-recyclable K-cup pods. Now we don't even have to use paper coffee filters! It's easy to just rinse out after each use, and then throw it in the dishwasher at night. If you make a ton of coffee before putting it in the dishwasher, the flow starts to slow, but washing it fixes that.I bought a pour-over pot at the same time, thinking this would be backup when it's in the dishwasher, but it turns out that we don't all drink coffee at the same time, so we end up using this exclusively. Anybody want a pour-over pot? :)

Easy to make sure you don’t overfill. I wish it was one piece, but I bought a second one for my RV because it’s so easy to use and clean. No grounds in my cup!
