Anatomic Study of the Clitoris and Bulbo-Clitoral Organ is a must buy!
Di Marino and Lepidi examined the clitoris and bulbo-clitoral organ of over 20 cadavers and photographed the results. Their text and photographs clearly indicate (although they do not make the claim since they are too polite) that every current medical atlas requires substantial revision in demonstrating a realistic drawing of the female sexual anatomy. All of the major atlases are clearly mistaken. A medical student, surgeon wanting to avoid disrupting important structures, or anyone who wants to better understand this subject needs this book. Whereas the latest Grant's Atlas of Anatomy, Netter Atlas of Human Anatomy, Gray's Atlas of Anatomy, all depict the female clitoris appearing as it was a chicken drum stick, the actual photographs show nothing of the sort. Major books on sexuality such as the Science of Orgasm by Komisuruk erroneously demonstrate the innervation of clitoris, vestibular bulbs and corpus spongiosum. This marvelous textbook, therefore, becomes the standard text of understanding female sexuality. It is a must of anyone attempting to understand the subject.

Excellent Female Anatomy Research Book
The information found in this book is not readily available elsewhere. The text, diagrams and photos thoroughly investigate the internal and external structures in a clear, scientific way. Interest in the topic of female sexual anatomy has been growing in recent years and this book adds to the information base.

Must-read for every OB/GYN and urologist
This is the best resource for clitoral anatomy. It contains photos of cadaver dissections featuring nerves and vasculature often omitted from general anatomy textbooks and OB/GYN textbooks.Currently, the innervation and vasculature of the clitoris is never adequately shown in OB/GYN literature. Usually the dorsal nerves are incorrectly shown terminating prior to the glans. Often the shape of the clitoris is shown incorrectly in illustrations. In Comprehensive Gynecology (Lentz), the glans is described as 1-2 cm long!I personally had the dorsal nerves of my clitoris cut in a clitoral hood reduction performed without my consent during a labiaplasty. Another patient I am in contact with had the dorsal nerves of her clitoris cut in a repair necessary after a violent sexual assault. If only more doctors would read this textbook, it would help close this gap in anatomy education and threat to patient safety. This book is so essential and parts of it should be required reading for OB/GYNs and urologists. The clitoris is equal in importance to female sexual response as the penis. It should be understood.
