Kindle Paperwhite Case 2018, Smart Fabric Cover with Auto Sleep Wake Feature for Kindle Paperwhite 10th Generation 2018 Release

I spent a while looking at all the cases and trying to find one that was a reasonable price but good quality. I am so glad I decided on this one. The cover has a slight grip feel it but not sticky by any means. It fits my kindle perfectly. The magnet closure works great and i have no issues with it popping open when in my purse through the day. I loved the grey one so much I had to order the pink one too so i had more colors. I have a feeling i will be getting a few more before I'm done!

This case is absolutely perfect. It fits the Kindle perfectly, without some of that overly-harsh snap-in effect of other cases that make me worry the case will scratch the device during application or removal. This ons slides in like butter, but still holds it securely and safely.The material is comfortable to hold, and is not like a regular fabric. This is excellent for me since I own two dogs and am a profession dog groomer. My life is dog hair, and every fabric I encounter gets infused with the hair! But this is perfect. I can have it with me at work to read on breaks, and at home as well, and the "fabric" does not trap a single stray hair. It is still soft to the touch and feels very durable as well.The bottom piece of this case is also Mose accurately cut for the power button and charging port, which was a deciding factor for me when comparing to other cases available. With a more precise cutout, it protects more of the bottom of the device when thrown in a bag or purse on the go.

Absolutely love this case! It's a huge bargain compared to the first party cases that Amazon themselves offer. It fits the new Paperwhite like a glove, the auto sleep function works perfectly, and the outer casing has a pleasant texture that offers a great grip.I've had it for several months and I treat my kindles fairly roughly, taking them everywhere with me, and it's held up like a charm. I'll update this review if its durability falls short of my expectations, but so far, so good!Edit: After only a year's usage the plastic in one corner cracked and a large piece later broke off. This is still a decent purchase for the price, but if you're going to be subjecting your kindle to a lot of potential wear and tear you may want to look elsewhere.

I don't know who they're trying to fool with this "fabric cover" lingo. It's clearly texturized/pressed rubber that's printed to look like strands of fabric. If you look really close, you can even see the ink dots. It feels nothing like fabric, instead having a very rubbery texture, and the edge of the "fabric" gives way to a plain plastic edge. It does fit well and work. Note that the seller offered me a $25 gift card to remove my review.

UPDATE 3/21/19: I had to replace this case because after just four months of use, the corners of the case started chipping off. Three out of four corners came off the case back, and I had to order a new one. I never dropped it and haven't used my Kindle heavily in those four months, so I have no idea how this happened. Everything I said in my earlier review still stand, the case is light and inexpensive, but now I see better why it was so cheap.This case is perfect. Nice and light, fits right on my new Kindle, and feels like a high quality product. Doesn't add a lot of bulk or make reading uncomfortable. Love the fabric feel on the outside, gives a good amount of grip so I don't feel like I'm going to drop a brand new device.

Very unhappy with this purchase. Case felt and looked great, but started falling apart after 5 weeks of owning; conveniently a week after the return period expired. See picture above--you can see the chip in the corner. This happed while sitting down and reading. I have not dropped the case, or even taken it traveling yet. It literally just started falling apart in my hands.

I've had various Kindles for years, but this is the first time I've bought a case mostly because the power button would get pressed when I tried to use the Kindle on the treadmill. This case works well to prevent that from happening. The cover is very sturdy, and definitely feels like it will protect the Kindle well. My main complaint is that it feels like it nearly doubles the thickness of the very slim Kindle. I do love the auto-wake functionality though.

Unfortunately, like several other reviewers have noticed, my case has started to come apart at the corners, just a week after the return window has closed and without any real stress on the case. My kindle lives on my bedside table and I have not dropped it or taken it on any trips since I purchased in early December. The corners on the bottom are slowly chipping away, leaving behind sharp surfaces. I do not recommend this product.
