I'm loving the new and improved Tooli-Art Metallic and Glitter Acrylic Paint Pen sets. They are very smooth and easy to use. They prime much easier than the originals did, which is great. They do take a little while to dry (but not hours), and that should be expected with acrylic paint. Some of the colors flow almost too well and seem quite liquidy (12 Gunmetal for example), possibly needing a second coat depending on the canvas you're using. Overall, the coverage is really good with this set. The metallics are incredible. They mix well and paint on so smoothly. The glitters mix well, too, and paint on smoothly; however, I'm not noticing much glitter. They do shimmer a bit, they just aren't as glittery as I was hoping. Perhaps that's to prevent the nibs from clogging. Both sets are a lot of fun to use though!My only real suggestion for future upgrades would be to include the window in the barrel (for metallics) like the other reformulated (essentials and glitters) and pro-series sets have. This is super helpful because we can see how much paint is left and if I've shaken it enough to have a complete mixture of paint with each use.As a side note, Tooli-Art's FB page is fun and welcoming. Honestly I think they work as good as Posca but at a budget friendly price . I ordered these because I was curious . The first set I ordered was the Earth Tone and Skin set of 36 . That's all it took . Now I am obsessed with getting every set ! I use them in my coloring books . They are opaque enough to cover black lines . I use a color close to what I'm going to color that part . I find my Prisma Colors and Faber Castell Polychromos has no problem laying on top with light layers . I would recommend these to anyone .

These are nice, smooth, opaque colors. Love the 2 tip sizes! They do require ALOT of shaking to mix and get the true color. The white is not noticeably metallic though...not even pearly... no matter how much I shake.Paint (even fully dried) will lift off if you are doing layers though...so be careful with that.Otherwise, a nice set for the money.

Great pens for rock painting. Good quality and nice assortment of colors. I recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  Ok you want a review, I did it. I ordered the Metallic (12 fine .07 & 12 thicker 3.0 matching) and 36 Earth tones colors.i will review both at once. Both arrived safely, fast and packaged well with instructions how to unwrap, shake and burp the pens before loading, I had zero problem with any of them. I used many fine lined pens and found issues with every kind. The main issue was lack of coverage and caking nibs. So I took a Santorini stone and painted the base for with metallic Arteza metallic bronze paint and DecoArt beige paint for the base. Then I used the new pens over these two colors to test coverage all with one coat. Coverage was equal for coverage over both metallic and matte acrylic. I tested with only one stroke. Colors were vibrant and opaque and didn’t find chipping, cracking with the paint and there was no caking on the nib. I was really impressed. Updated: so I attached the video and you can see that the coverage with one stroke covers well. Also they provide extra nibs. One more thing I needed to add is the fantastic support the ARTOOLI Tooli-Art pens. Sunday night I was on the website and remember that I didn’t see the EBook that was listed I would get and mentioned it in the comment section of the site.....well poof there was support answering my questions, so cool. I really thing I’m going to enjoy my experience of Tooli-Art pens, give them a try.

I have to admit that I wasn't very happy with the metallic acrylic set. The colors were dull and opaque. They all look alike. I am giving a 5 stars to the company because the customer service is WONDERFUL. They were cordial, friendly, and very helpful. I am trying a regular set and WOW! Great colors, vibrant and beautiful! Perfect for rock painting!

I pigmenti di questo marchio sono ottimi li conoscevo, ma la confezione dei metallizzati è arrivata già aperta, e un pennarello utilizzato o provato, inoltre uno dei colori, mentre nella punta 3mm è correttamente metallizzato, nella punta 0.7 non lo è.Forse era un reso. Perchè spedirlo a qualcun'altro?
