Extraordinarily high price for only 1.
The item is fine, but I only received 1 at a cost of $5.69. For some reason, I thought at that price I was getting 5 from Amazon. Home Depot sells a pack of 20 for $8.76. My mistake, but not worth driving 6 miles to the return drop off point (in a local mall) when I am trying to quarantine.

Ignore the line in the middle - this is one molded piece
Is NOT two nuts connected together in the middle.The two ends do NOT twist independently.Very difficult to get twisted into place due to being one piece.(Was replacing a similar looking coupling that had ends that spun independently)

Works well with risers to extend our sprinklers
A few of our sprinkers were too short this year with all the plant growth from last year. So we purchased couplers and risers to extend the height. They work exactly as they should.

Easy to use
After watching a utube video it was a easy fix to extend out of ground sprinklers to spray over plants that had grown taller in flower beds. These couplers along with extenders made for an easy fix. Make sure you use plumbers tape as well!

Not as advertised
The AD states that a package contains 3 couplings. I ordered this package twice and both times came with only one coupling. Don't get robbed like I did... twice

Works as advertised!
Worked great for me and delivery was fast. I used them to add risers to my sprinkler heads. These kept me from having to dig all the way to the main pipe.

Easy to thread on water pipe
Used it to increase the riser height on some of the sprinkler heads that were sinking on the lawn surface.

Great alternative to a riser in some situations.
The length is often just right for use as a short riser instead of a coupler.
