Clutch chatter backing out of the garage
I bought this clutch because I had my engine out for head gaskets and thought I would just replace the clutch because I was there. that was a mistake I should have left the other clutch and installed it onto the new flywheel. the clutch chattered immediately when backing out of the garage. I didn't even get to the test drive ! I tried to drive the car and break it in just thinking it might get better and it did not. it is very hard to leave a stop without the car shuttering in the body from the vibrations. be aware I think the pressure plate was warped in the box. I could not tell everything looked awesome sitting on the bench. I will be replacing it with a name brand clutch in a day or 2 just to make the car drivable.

Wasn't great compared to other brands
Is not staged 2 pressure plate is way too light very odd a disk like this has to be heavier for it to work right with a fresh surface flywheel you would expect it to grab at the bottom but it doesn't it at the top at a very awkward spot like the clutch is done worn out ,I got a eft stage 2 with the cheapest organic disk and it held the WRX motor at 195hp for 20k am disappointed as it claims stage 2 and we only 65hp more than stock this clutch is burning in first Second and third and forth with speeds below 55 mph and half throttle now I have to get a new pressure plate so the disk can handle the power it made for don't buy it going to make your car harder to drive and your lockup going to be the same or less then stock I remember my stock being a little heavier the One extra star is because the throwout bearing sleeve kit seems all right so far

Nice clutch kit
Had everything it should have and so far has been a good clutch. Installed in my 2003 Forester XS.

Missingparts
While the clutch looks good and return bearing feels good. The PILOT bearing is missing. The only solution they give is to send u a replacement. So I have to wait another week to replace the clutch? Anyone that works on cars knows that's not plausible. Thanks a lot southeast clutch, for makeing me lose thousands of dollors because I have to wait

Fit '97 Impreza 2.2l great, similar to stock feel
Bought for a '97 Impreza outback sport with an ej22, went in easy and the bearing sleeve makes it the smoothest the car has run in a long time.Still in the 500mi break-in, but so far clutch pedal is no heavier than stock and has easy/smooth engagement (pretty similar to the stock feel)
