Almost 5 stars, plusses and minuses. Plusses: surprisingly attractive! Looks like marble, large, lovely pale golden color, for an affordable plastic mezuzah I don't think it gets much better. This is my first mezuzah and I wanted something simple and large enough, it is both (quite large actually look at dimensions to make sure this is what you want, it's a pretty big declaration of Judaism!). Minuses: The scroll is not kosher which will be a deal breaker for many, but if that's the case you can also just buy a separate kosher scroll. I do not keep kosher so the lack of kosher scroll did not bother me as much as it probably should have. Still, as someone putting up a mezuzah for spiritual reasons I did wish there was some sort of pamphlet or website-- about both the meaning of the prayer (translation would have been so nice!) and proper way to affix it. I looked on Youtube-- be very careful and also read the messages on whatever how-to video you see because I saw one that had great coverage of the prayer you say and the placement on the door but got the angle of placement wrong according to comments. My understanding is right side of the door, angled about 45° hung 1/3 of the way down the door, but I'm a newbie (a Jewbie?) ethnically and culturally Jewish but hanging off the edge of reform when it comes to practicing. In any case, I can say having a mezuzah makes me feel much better than I did before-- every time I go through the door I feel a little prayer smile and that I'm doing something to reflect my culture and tribe. So, if you're looking for *something* as a starter, and willing to do your research elsewhere and find actual pieces of art elsewhere (some mezuzahs are truly gorgeous, however nice I personally find this to be this is not a piece of art)-- for that basic declarative and sanctifying purpose, this is a solid 5 stars. Very nice quality and inexpensive for the product like that it was easy to assemble and came with tape to stick to the side of the door post! Highly recommend! Also it does come with a non-kosher scroll to put in it! If you are not concerned about it being non-kosher I highly recommend this product

I paid for the more expensive "Jerusalem City" design, I received the cheaper "Silver Stripes" design. If they want to send me the correct item I ordered and paid for, I will update my ratings, because otherwise it seems like it'd be an okay product. Also, it arrived a day late. Which typically I wouldn't subtract stars for, but that coupled with the fact I paid more for an item I did not want.. Yeah, I'm not such a happy customer.

Even though not kosher still great. Put it on my cabin be sure to say bracha when doing it.

I love how there is a cork protecting the Scroll from falling out, unlike most mezuzahs, which just have a backing. It also comes with a double sided tape that holds up well. Very happy with this purchase

Comes with 2-sided sticker if you don't want to nail it.. feels like a quality product.I just wish they didn't tape the scroll closed.
