This lid is expensive for what it is. Better off buying a new travel cup; the only reason why I decided to purchase this is because my cup is sentimental and I want to keep using it.Not sure how this received such good reviews...The design needs improvement...1. The lid goes on creating a tight seal but, you have to make sure to release the pressure every so often to prevent the lid from sliding up and breaking that seal. (Could be a deal breaker for some)2. The 'latch' you open in order to sip from the cup does not lay flush with the lid. The rim of the lid prevents it from being pushed back enough. When you sip from the cup, if you dont tilt your head all the way back, the latch touches your nose. If you do tilt your head back, it will drip off the latch onto your nose. Either way, you have to remember to wipe the rubber stopper off before sipping or your nose will get wet.3. Mine leaks. The lid does create a fairly good seal around but, it leaks from the 'latch'. Not sure if this is because of poor design or if I received one with a defect.Bottom line, I am very dissatisfied with this product. I would suggest buying a new cup unless, of course, your cup is sentimental like mine. Then I would suggest looking further.Just my experience...hope it helps

After submitting my initial review, see below, the company was gracious enough to contact me and offer a full refund. They were extremely and promptly responsive. I only wish I could use the lids somehow. I’ll keep an eye out for other products this company sells as they were great to deal with.CLARIFICATION-in no way did I intend to impress that the lids were poorly made. They are of high quality, just that the flip tab bumped my nose; and they fit the cups but just didn’t stop leaks. I would recommend the lids otherwise.Initial Review…I specifically purchased this item because of its claim to be spill proof. It is not. Very disappointed. It leaked from the seal right at the start. And yes, I read and followed the manufacturer instructions. Just doesn’t seal and tried it on two different travel mugs.And if that weren’t bad enough, the flip tab you open to drink from the lid hits you in the nose leaving coffee drops. Very annoying.

I purchased the 30 oz replacement lids quite some time ago, and was satisfied with them. One lid began to have issues not keeping the slider open during use, so I used the buy-it-again feature in my order history. Clicked on buy-it-again to put it into my cart, and submitted my order. I didn't open the lid packages right away when they came, but when I did open them, they were too small. I looked at the packing and realized they were for the 20 oz tumblers. I was confused how that had happened, as I was simply reordering the same item I'd already ordered once, but figured I must have done something wrong. I went back in to try again, but this time I watched closely to make sure I was indeed ordering for the 30 oz tumbler. Before I submitted my order, I double checked the item, and once again, it was showing as a 20 oz tumbler, not the 30 oz one I'd selected. If they were out of the 30 oz size, they needed to bring this to my attention, not simply substitute the smaller size. These will clearly not work in my 30 oz tumblers, so I will be sending them back. However, the original lids work very well, and I anticipate when I'm able to get the correct size, they will too.

Update(3.18.19): I had to give it a star back. the lid is holding up awesome. I have dropped my mug with coffee in it at least 4 times (hands full), and none has ever spilled. There are some chips in parts of the plastic from when it it the ground, and still going strong. I will definitely be picking up a new one when this one goes. I wish that there was some design change so I didn't get coffee on my nose from the lid closure when it is open and I am taking a sip. But that is not near enough to dissuade me from recommending this lid.Update (8.24.19): I have changed from 2 to 4stars. C&Berg contacted me soon after my previous review, indicated there was a batch defect, and offered me a new lid free of charge. This one has been good for the month I have had it. No cloudiness. No cracking. The only reason I have not give it 5 stars is I would like to see how long it lasts (but I didn't want my prior 2 star review lingering).Original: I've owned two of these so far. At the beginning they're really good (I could throw my mug in my bag with coffee on it with the lid and and never spoiled a drop) ; but, after a month or two they got cloudy and they cracked. Not sure why. I thought it was just a defect with the first one I had, so that's why I got the second. But it happened with that one too.

Photos in listing are sufficient. It's a solid, well constructed lid and it fit perfectly on my non-yeti 30oz tumbler. Snug, seems like very good quality and functionality. May be a a little tight at first, but you're buying it to be tight and not lose liquid onto your chin or chest, right?! Success. No complaints here, just compliments. I'll probably buy a few more now that I've tested them.Lastly, I'm not sponsored, affiliated or otherwise receiving any kickbacks (unfortunately?) for this review.I just review it like I see/experience it... the honest truth.

The lid is leak proof but it is not spill proof. I purchased the 20oz lid for my ozark trail 20oz tumbler to use for coffee.I filled my tumbler a thrid of the way full with water and turned it upside down overthe sink with this lid on it. The The lid did not leak when I turned my cup upside down but with just that little bit of water inside the lid was not sticking the way tumbler lids normally do. After just 10-15 seconds of my tumbler being turned upside down the lid came off.Hopefully no one drops their cup or it falls over because the lid will not hold.

I purchased these lids based on reviews and was extremely disappointed that they do not fit the Yeti mug I have, I think that the company saying that they fit should know this is not the case.
