Used this tester on four different areas on one raised bed and seems to give consistent results. Had slightly different readings for the second raised bed but they were consistent for that bed as well. So at this moment in time very satisfied with the results. More sturdy than other, similar meters. Works well thus far ‘though accuracy( as to ph levels ) can only really be judged by soil-testing. I am progressively increasing the ph of some raised beds to receive onion garlic planting and will be better able to see the response of the ph meter. I am a long-term enthusiast of moisture testing and having both measurements possible with the same instrument is a bonus

I was actually let my plant die first time i tested it the soil was really really dry, now i can keep it enough moisture in it, so i can organize how often need to water my plants. I usually ket the switch on moisture but once in a while i test PH and light. I'm so grateful to this little gadget, i actually was looking forward to get it. Definitely beats using your finger to try and judge the dampness of soil! Immediately indicates soil moisture level, so avoids the hazard of overwatering indoor plants.

Arrived on time. Easy to use and designed to cater for all size pots. Simple markings on gauge with red for dry,green for moist and black for wet. My newly potted outdoor hydrangeas (which apparently need a lot of water) started to die within 2 weeks of planting - with this new tool I was able to determine that the poor things were likely waterlogged! I have stopped watering them and letting the rain do the job (and I know its working because the tester shows me they are in plenty of water) and the flowers are starting to grow! This is the BEST item in my toolshed. Seriously. As a very amateur gardener its completely revolutionised my plants. I would normally be watering my petunias daily as they are hot sun all day and the finger test says they're too dry - the soil tester says otherwise and within a week they are completely blooming and I only water them once a week, not even! So really, amazing tool.

Absolutely perfect

They are fantastic. Even can monitor the right amount of water and it tells you if It's the right amount of light where they're at. Result, my plants are happy and so am I. So easy to use, and no batteries needed! I used to have a fancy battery powered pH meter and it broke. I love that this one is simple, mechanical, and effective. I doubt it will ever break. Easy to use. Only advice is that the soil needs to be damp to get an accurate pH measure, so you made need to water first. Make sure you have the switch set to which function you want to measure, and make sure that you are reading the right scale for that function.
