Fit great and working well
I have 2001 330ci, tank fit well and seems to be well made. It comes with the coolant level sensor which I did not use on the initial install. I used my old one which was working before the change. Now it's not working. I changed the sensor to the one that came with the new tank and all is well. I will amend this review if there are issues.

Expansion tank. 325i. E46
OEM Quality. Great fit. All seals preinstalled to fit on bracket. No cap. No level sensor. Those two items will have to be ordered separately or reused. If sensor is reused, good luck removing it without it breaking.

A cheap preventive maintenance
Perfect figment- a bit tough to get my original out, but once I had that, a piece of cake! New tank, hoses, thermostat, pump, rad and pulleys and I'm good for another 100 k. Frequent replacement is a cheap insurance, as these plastic tanks are exposed to hi temps and will break down. Will get this one again.

Good Aftermarket Replacement
Fits in my 2003 BMW 325i. I purchased an expansion tank from AutoZone about 18 months ago but after a recent complete (almost) cooling system replacement, that tank began to leak. I've read about issues with Behr tanks going after some time but the price was good and I thought I'd try it since other Behr parts I've bought have been fine. I'll update if this changes.

bottom opening is leaking a tiny bit
It fits perfectly but except the bottom main opening. I tried to re-install it with proper inspection but I am not able to seal it properly. Tank seats perfectly but still leaks. Everything else was ok.

So far so good
These silly expansion tanks blow every couple of years no matter the brand. Even the stealership BMW part will go. It is just a poor design on BMW's part. Brittle plastic parts which circulate hot fluid under pressure. So far this one is good. It will leak at some point I am sure..but replacing expansion tanks on older BMW's is like changing the oil every 15k miles. I will say this- Take the time to properly bleed all the air out of the cooling system. I believe air in the system contributes to these things blowing out. Also... use the blue BMW coolant! You can buy it by the liter for $8. When replacing the expansion tank...get a 60ml or so meat flavor injection syringe and aquarium airline tubing and suck out and save all the coolant from the expansion tank in clean jugs. You will get around 2 gallons..and lose very little during the part swap. The coolant is almost the most expensive "part" in this job.
