Cream of Quinoa
I ordered this because I don’t like the texture of regular quinoa & I found this online. It cooks faster & tastes better to me in this state. You can also make it sweet or savory when it’s the flakes! I added agave for breakfast & nutritional yeast & spices for lunch. Great source of protein & it fills you up.

Quick, healthy breakfast option
We need variety in what we eat for breakfast. These quinoah flakes are quick and nutritious w no extra ingredients. I add just a bit of maple syrup, walnuts and fruit.

hard to find.
I had a really hard time finding this exact product, even though I asked the grocery manager to get it for me. he said: "no". It's pricey. For a grain, it has a very high protein percentage. To me, by itself, it tastes "soapy" so I mix it with other grains in my food jar. Cooking makes it stick to pot, Yuck! Use about a teaspoon because while it's healthy, I can't stand the solo taste. I mix it with oatmeal, other grains and salt. Have to purchase on line, as it's hard to find. I store extra dry flakes in glass jars with a tight lid, as the little bugs and weavels like it too.

The best hot cereal!
This is really good if you make it right. Opt for milk instead of water for a more creamy texture and don’t skimp out on the pinch of salt. It really does make all the difference! I like adding fresh berries, cinnamon, almond butter, and maple syrup. It’s so filling and just the most perfect balanced breakfast.

Definitely Do Not Eat Plain
So the whole reason I purchased this is due to a detox diet after my Allergist/Immunologist sent me to a Nutritionist for a MRT Test and results. Quinoa is a grain my system is supposed to be able to tolerate and a recipe that call for the quinoa flakes was provided. This was the first time having quinoa ever. So of course I tried this by itself without the raspberry sauce. Big mistake. I am good with plain grits, but this definitely has a not so go distinctive taste. It is much better with the raspberry sauce. So if you do pick this up, do not eat it plain.

Great alternative to oatmeal or regular quinoa
I'm trying to eat quinoa for a healthy breakfast but it can be rough to eat something so *ahem* hearty in the morning. Oatmeal gets old day after day. Yay! This product is like oatmeal and quinoa had a baby. Can go savory or sweet and consistency is closest to cream of wheat.

Great for baking, not as good for hot cereal
Even though this product is disappointing as a hot cereal, I had to give it 5 stars because it is so enjoyable in baked goods. A very pleasing granola recipe for gluten-free peanut-free folks: Melt 1/2 cup honey and 1/2 cup cashew-nut butter and whip together until smooth. Mix nut-butter/honey thoroughly into 4 cups of Quinoa Flakes and spread out the entire mixture onto parchment-paper-lined jelly roll pan or bare stoneware jelly roll pan. Place in oven preheated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and turn off the oven allowing the granola to get toasty and to harden. Leave for 4 to 8 hours to cool off in the oven, then remove and break up into small enough chunks to eat as cereal. This recipe is good with peanut butter, too, if you tolerate it.
