I now store an entire set of colored pencils and a few nice pens and mechanical pencil in this case. It is well made with good stitching and sturdy cloth. Very functional and convenient.

Nice to have so many slots for pencils. Bottom could be sturdier.

Perfect little case for any set of 72 colored pencils (or for 3 packs of 24 colors). The elastic is snug and keeps the pencils in place without being so tight as to make it difficult to slide each one in or out. There's even a little flap to keep the tips from getting chipped or broken while carrying about while also preventing the accidental transfer of colors to other items when carrying it in a bag with other items.Seems to be well-constructed of decent material and without any obvious defects. Solid product.

This is just what I wanted. I'll probably buy more. The pencil holder has a fold up flap to protect the points. I know how to sew these, but this is actually cheaper than buying the canvas, elastic, and braid ties. The stitching is top notch. The fabric smell, as mentioned above, is due to the solvent used and that's how it comes off the bolt. It's not prewashed. It would shrink in the wash. Maybe I'll dampen a rag and throw it in the dryer with a softener sheets. It's not a deal breaker for me. I recommend this item for practicality, construction, and price.

Such a great roll-up case for my colored pencils to take along on hikes. Works wonderfully to bring pencils or watercolor brushes to use for nature journaling. Well constructed too!

this is made from some great material, but the slots rarely truly fit my tools. it would probably work best with colored pencils. however, too often my paint brushes are too small or too big, or my ceramics tools don't fit either. sometimes if whatever you insert is too big, you can't even use the next slot over. wish the slots were spaced further away from each other.

This is a great pencil case, if you're worried about the pencils breaking then fear not I have been traveling with a full set and eraser rolled up in my backpack across urban jungles, 11 hour hikes into the the Connecticut mountain side, and road trips up north.The only problem is that you must make sure the lip at the bottom stays straight as you close it, but that takes a second and is well worth the quality, storage size, and capacity of this case.

It had a weird smell so I washed it in the washing machine and got rid of the smell. Worked great after that.
