Requires modification to gas lens
All the items seem to be good quality, especially considering the price. Various sized clear cups are harder to find than straight #10. For that reason I still recommend this kit, it can be made to work. The problem is that the gas lens has only 1 O ring grove. It is properly positioned allowing the O ring to seal against both the insulator and the very back of the glass cup simultaneously. But the slightest bump to the cup unseats it from the precarious seal, usually letting the cup drop and break. The kit includes plenty of extra O rings, but if you put on more than 1 at a time, the cup will not fit.In my opinion, the gas lens needs another O ring groove in the middle of the threaded section. The threads are not used at all with this kit, but they do allow one to use common pink cups if(when) your glass ones break. Pink threaded cups can still be used after this mod provided I remove the 2nd O ring and leave the first in place to seal the insulator. The mod:Chuck the torch side of a gas lens into a drill. Leave the red plastic protective cap on so I don't chowder the threads. Verify that it doesn't wobble and wont pop out. Start with the .040" or whichever is least used size for practice.Chuck a 1/8" ball end mill into a Dremel tool.Start the gas lens spinning in the drill and apply the Dremel tool to the middle of the threaded section where the cups go. The position is not critical as long as there are a couple threads before and a couple after. Start with a light touch so the tool is not moved by the threads. Keep going till there is no thread in the area I am grinding. Apply an O ring to the new groove and see if a cup fits. Keep going a little at a time till the cup will fit snugly. Usual warnings apply. Making or using the mod could result in injury. I am not advocating anyone perform this mod, just describing what I did. It has worked well for me so far.Having 2 O rings in separate grooves seems to work much better than alternatives I've seen with 1 O ring in the middle, or 2 O rings side by side in a wider groove near the insulator. This is an easy feature for manufacturers to add during production, so I expect it will be commonly available soon, but for now it is hard to find, thus DIY only.

Fits CK17FX torch!
Exactly as described and promptly shipped. Packaged like is was going to Mars in a dump truck - very well protected! Initially, it didn’t seem the insulator was going to fit my CK17 torch but it snaps on if you squeeze the piss out of it. Insulator ID is about .050” smaller than the stock CK insulator but there’s a lip on it that snaps over the CK head.Stubby lens was a big breakthrough for my TiG learning because it shortened the electrode-end of the torch about 3/4”. Just enough so I could hold the torch body like a pencil and slide my hand on my last, two fingers.Gas lens allowed me to maintain same/better shielding with roughly half the gas flow.

Works great if installed properly
I find the increased visibility of the clear cup to be an excellent advantage. Also, the gas screen enhances coverage over the part, leading to less contamination of the weld. Some of the other reviewers seem to have difficulty with the installation. I use two o-rings, first loosely attach the gas lens to the Tig body, then install the pyrex cover, then turn to tighten the gas lens. You get a solid fit and the cup stays put.

Meh...
I had bought a much higher quality pyrex system first for the larger electrodes and wanted an inexpensive one for the smaller work that i infrequently do, so I bought this unit. The higher quality system ruined my expectations since it is so nice - very positive and provides such a good result. This unit is basically a haphazard friction fit that does work, but it seems cheesy. Yeah, it was super low cost, so I should expect that. It is a great value for money, but not a great thing to use.If I never had bought that better unit, this would likely be a fine thing at a great price...

Horrible way to hold a cup on
Everything is great when you use the threads on the gas lens for a ceramic cup. I bought this set for the clear cups, but it's designed for the o-ring to connect to the cup right at the edge of the cup, cylindrical o-ring, flat surface, the cup ends up popping off in the middle of a weld = junk. There needs to be an indention in the cup for the o-ring to ride in or closer to the tungsten by interrupting the threads for this to work.

The gas lenses are too short to fit 2 o-rings for securing/sealing the pyrex cups.
As others have stated, there's not enough room behind the threads on the gas lense to fit two o-rings per the included instructions. If you try to fit 2, the cup or lense won't seal properly and you'll get air sucked in and mixing with your gas envelope. If you just use 1 o-ring, the cups fall/pop off as soon as they expand from the heat. Totally useless. There are other products on here that actually work.

Won't fit CK 17 torch
The insulator provided in this kit will not fit a CK 17 TIG torch even though is specifically says it will. You cannot use this kit with the CK size 17 torch. You need a 4GHS insulator for this to work.

O-rings dont fit with the gas lens and Pyrex
As you can read in the other reviews, the 2 orings do not fit with the gas lens snug, One swells. Cant get the pyrex cup on. This on every gas lens in the kit. I was able to get it to work but turning then in a lathe. Several emails back and forth with the seller. Photo shows the swelled outter o-ring.

UNtauglich in jeder Hinsicht
