You will need an adaptor for everything and a converter only if your device needs 120 volts
Overall this product did the job . The only problem I had was charging my Nikon Coolpix camera two different times on a recent tour to Europe . When I hooked the camera charger up , the light on the camera was flashing about 2 or 3 times faster than normal . I didn't realize it was not taking a charge . The next day the battery went dead after a short time from not taking the charge over night .About 2 or 3 days later the same thing happened and I couldn't get it to take a charge . I finally thought , maybe the voltage was to high , so I plugged my c-pap machine into the converter first and the camera light flashed at normal speed and took a charge over night . Don't know for sure what the problem was . Sorry to say I missed taking a few pictures that one day . I did have a spare battery but ,like a dummy , it was back at the hotel . After that I did take it along . Roger Q.

Worked Well
Stepped down the power and made it possible to use multiple plugs. The USB charging ports were particularly help for for 2 phones and 2 iPads. A couple of places you had to jiggle the wall plug to get it just right for power to flow but I am not sure if that was the device or the wall sockets.

Works well, except when it shocks the **** out of you
This worked well in Kenya for an American sound machine and for charging ipads, iphones and kindles. However whenever we touched the iphones to unplug them, we received nasty shocks. At first we thought it was a short in the chord, but it was not. We had to turn it off in order to retrieve our items that were being charged. It did not seem to do this in a 5* hotel, but did in older safari camps, perhaps because they were not grounded. I am not going to return it, but we will be extremely careful when we use it in the future.

It might work, might not
This is my second one, the first one kept zapping me every time I picked it up while plugged in. The second one is working fine so far, no issues. Very easy to use.

Outlets stopped working in the middle of our first night on the trip
We bought this product because we needed it for a trip to Israel. Our first night there, we had our cell phones plugged in to 2 of the outlets on this product. The device was working when we went to bed. We woke up in the middle of the night to a wind storm and checked the device. We noticed that our phones were no longer charging, the outlets stopped working! The next day, we tested it with other items that plug in and we confirmed that the outlets on it were definitely not working. We then tested the USBs on it and they were fine. Unfortunately, the return time expired on March 3 while we were only 2 days into this trip. We are stuck with a product that we can only use the USBs on! I am very disappointed. We were just very lucky that we were traveling with a group of people and one of them had an extra step down device that we borrowed.

Awesome international power adapter
This is truly an awesome power adapter. We used it overseas for 220V power to run “have to have” power systems and it worked wonderfully. Other systems we have used needed loud internal fans, this one doesn’t. This unit’s 4 USB ports also enabled us to leave our phone/watch/camera adapters at home. The only issue we had was that the prongs on the wall adapter were a little narrow and the plug needed to be stabilized to stay plugged into the wall. The unit is awesome.

Be sure you are getting the adaptor for the countries you will visit.
This adaptor set ironically had adaptors for all of the countries we visited! And we went on a European cruise so we hit a lot of countries. When I was first looking at buying one of these sets I did not look closely at matching what adaptors of which countries we would be visiting. There are several adaptor sets out there to choose from. So look closely.
