This saved our necks in Florence, Italy, on the train and needing a little extra protection of our suitcases being left partly unattended while we were viewing the countryside from our seats.

I travel in some dicey places in Asia. While I could not rely on this prevent theft of my case by a determined thief, it does add some piece of mind in many situations, preventing casual, opportunistic theft. I used to lock my carry-on to my chair when dozing in transit lounges. Sadly, security rules in many places don't allow one to carry this.

Perfect for traveling on train if need to luck up luggage while unattended. Size is compact and fits nicely in purse. Of course anyone with bolt cutter will cut through, but this is a detterent when you do don't have anyone to watch bags for a bit.

Sturdy - more of a deterrent than an actual cable lock that would completely prevent theft - but long and flexible.

These get the job done if you just want to keep snoopers out. Serious security no way. But I bought three and use them in a variety of ways. Good buy for me.

So many uses when you travel or can be used to secure things anywhere.

Not too bulky, and I'm confident this will deter a thief.
