My Life in Lists: An Illustrated Journal to Record Your Loves, Goals + Dreams!

I first saw this book on IG and I was very impressed with the variety of layouts and prompts. It's even better now that I have it in my hands. For me it has taken the hard part away...narrowing down which layout to do what. She has it all covered. I like the breakdown of the book of the past, present and future and that it is encouraged to doodle your thoughts rather than write them. But no judgement whatever you choose. The only drawback, tbh, is on the inside of the spine of the book where it is separated and the booklets of pages come together. It pops when I open fresh pages. No big deal. The pages are great quality and are sturdy. Ive experienced no bleeding thru with any markers which is a plus for me!

LOVE LOVE LOVE This book. It far surpassed my expectations and really made me think outside of the box. It's unique, fun and full of great ideas. Great for goal setting. Could NOT wait to get it in, and it was better than I even expected it to be. The pages are short so you can do one at a time, you don't need to commit hours to it all at once. Great for all ages : )

My Life in Lists is a new guide to illustrated journaling with gentle suggestions by Nicole Barlettano. Released 7th May 2019 by Quarto on their Rock Point imprint, it's 128 pages and available in paperback format.I love journaling and notebooks, but I have a hard time starting to write in a new notebook. I love buying new ones (with all the best intentions, obviously), but they wind up sitting in a collection on my bookshelf. This book aims to gently move stuck writers in the right direction; putting pen to paper by including guided lists of fill-in-yourself illustrated pages. It reminds me quite a lot of an adult version of the ubiquitous 'baby book' that everyone gets when they announce a pregnancy.There are a number of different types of lists: things which happened in the past to you, things you want to achieve, lists for the present, important dates, anniversaries and birthdays, and many others.The illustrated pages are very pretty and pastel with nice layouts which are easy on the eyes. They also would lend themselves very well to drawing by hand in another journal with personalizations included.Four stars, very cute. I love this journal and the way all of the templates are laid out, it's so creative and totally adorable. I love Nicole Barlettano too so every time I open this journal is makes me insanely happy!

Such an inspiring little book to have on my writing desk and to gift to others for graduations, birthdays, and for any occasion. The designs are beautiful and thought-provoking, and I’m thrilled to heartily recommend Nicole’s book for daily writing for even the youngest writers and for seasoned daily journal folks.

I’m so happy with how the book is laid out. The pages entice you to get involved. The author is an absolutely amazing journalist and artist. I love that she created a way for us non-artistic folks to be artistic in the world of lists!!

2.5 stars, rounded upA nice journal with fun writing spaces to create your lists. The prompts are good, covering past, present, and future.My main gripe with these types of books is that (once again,) it is very 'girly' with only bright turquoise, pink and lavender hues and cutesy hearts, flowers and bows. A more neutral or primary colored pallet would have appealed to more people. I know lots of women who like blues and greens.This list book could have been a fun project for a parent and child or grandparent and child to do together. The problem is I'm not sure who the target audience is with pages on date nights and dreams jobs and professional skills and then others about binge watching TV shows and what to put in your time capsule.

This book is so much fun! Such fun lists to work on! Love the design. Love all the topics. Recommend it highly!

J’ai été suprise par le contenu. Je pensais que c’était plus dans le style journal et non sous forme de liste. Le visuel est beau!! Mais je manque parfois d’inspiration pour remplir ces listes alors je ne sais pas jusqu’à quel point je vais l’utiliser
