Olymp Master Locking Doorway Pull Up Bar Chin Up Bar Horizontal Pullup Bar

I purchased this pull up bar since my uncle had one of these at his apartment in NYC. I prefer seeing/trying stuff before buying it , so I took advantage of it and tried the bar while I was visiting him. I was very pleased with the overall feeling of the bar. The grip felt great and it had a sturdy construction that made me feel super safe while exercising. I also liked that it had the screws mounted into the door frame to make it super secure for anyone to use. So I didnt hesitate and I placed the order. Delivery was fast and free, which is always great. Took me about 10 minutes to put it all together, super easy. The bar definitely gives me the feeling of security while hanging on it ,since I am 6'4 and over 210 pounds heavy, and it was always one of mine main concerns - what if.... I can rely on this bar as I do my everyday morning/evening pull ups/leg raises. I know there is a wide selection of these types of products on the market , but I am 100% satisfied with this one in particular and I couldn't be happier ( and trust me,I have always hard times choosing the one product that would be right for me when there are too many options, but with making this purchase I have no regrets. :)) I can recommend this pull up bar to anyone who is looking for something reliable for a reasonable price.

I have the bar that's a step up from this one by Olymp Master. I would say, if you can pitch out an extra ten or twenty bucks, or don't want to have to put screws in your doorway to hang it, get the next step up. However, if you want to save some money and the screws aren't a problem, it's a really solid bar. The bar is a little weighty in a good way, sturdy, and the padding on it is super comfortable and easy to grip. It adjusts pretty far as well which is great. I used it with my rings and it handled the weight perfectly. Would really recommend this bar if you can't afford the step up from this one.

Sturdy construction but not happy with mechanism to install on the wall. Twisting expansion with locking mechanism is not easy to install.

Very quality stuff.

Installation was a breeze. I really like how the bar is cushioned. Easy to put up and take down. I liked the security fasteners to keep the bar from getting loose.
