I use one of these in the tripod mount of all my cameras when I go out and about. I attach a sling type strap to them and it makes a much more comfortable way to carry your camera. The weight is on your shoulder instead of your neck like a traditional neck strap so you can go all day without your neck getting sore. These devices are very strong so you don’t have to worry about your camera coming loose.

These are not 1/4"-20 thread as is needed to screw into anything that uses a tripod mount. I tried to screw these into my camera, no go. Only gets a partial turn in & goes crooked. I tried them on some Hillman 1/4-20 nuts & they would only go on a little bit before screwing & stopping.I got the black ones, but I don't think it's the coating, I think the thread is just the wrong pitch.

Looks and feels strong . cheap for 5 . does its job for smaller cameras
