Works well
I’m still a novice diver, so I just use it to clip my dive light to my BCD. When I need it, it’s really easy to unclip and hold it out. If I don’t need my light, I just zip it in one of my pockets while it’s still clipped to my BCD so it doesn’t dangle.

Survived strong currents in Maldives
I bought this to use on my liveaboard trip in the Maldives. I used it on 5 dives, with very strong currents. It was easy to use, robust, and presented no issues at all. Having the double hook is advantageous as currents do shift and the second hook can serve as a backup.

This WORKS great!
I bought this as I almost lost my GoPro on my last dive trip. Just used it in the Dominican Republic for a dive trip. This is a solid purchase! Awesome product!

Easy to Use.
I have been looking for a reef hook which I can easily carry and use. This fits the bill! It has two clasps I can use for attaching the reef hook to the outside of my BCD. The one clasp remains attached when you need to deploy. Much easier than the reef hooks which usually have only one clasp which you need to keep in an accessory pocket or the BCD pocket. Works very nicely. The cable stays coiled until you use it. Usually the other type of reef hooks have a long cord which you must try and keep from unraveling.

Did not get bullied by the current
The spring on the main clip is a bit janky. The hook held firm in rather strong current for multiple dives. It was much easier to use than a regular hook and line, and while other divers were clinging to the rocks for dear life, I deployed this reef hook and stayed secure. The current was strong enough that my regulator was shaking. I do not regret this purchase.

Easy to carry and deploy. Worked great in strong currents in Indonesia.
Wife and I each have one of these, first time we've used reef hooks. Easy to carry, easy to use. We rested at 70 feet depth watching sharks in a strong current. Hooks worked well and we liked how the coil made it easy when we disconnected to just attach other end to the BC attached end and head back to the live aboard. Could not have done this dive without reef hooks and these worked well.

Spring-loaded clamps get stuck too easy
I got two of these. After a single dive trip, ~20 dives, all clamps that attach the thing to the BCD get affected by the water and start getting stuck, requiring effort to open and to close. Springs used for the clamps are nowhere near powerful for the material so easily affected by the sea water. I recommend looking for alternatives.

Useful for securing camera when diving
I'm using it to secure my GoPro system when scuba diving. Seems secure as the coil has a metal cable inside the plastic.

The coil is a good feature. Hooks are 3 inches long.
We used this for our trips to The Maldives and Palau. Lots of other divers were asking where we got these as they like the coil vs the rope and hook they had. I would agree a single hook design does make it a little easier to find a spot to hook in. A longer hook would also help but this is really minor so far and we’ve had no real issue in significant current. The main feature is once you unhook you don’t have a pile of rope to deal with. Unhook, hook the small clasp into a D-ring and away you go. The hooks are right around 3 inches and unless TSA measured precisely they should be ok for carry on as 3” is the limit. They never got a second look when we took them through. We've used these on 2 trips now and almost 40 dives. They have held up well. I notice a small amount of rust around the pin of the clasps but it seems minor. I suspect the clasps are chrome or at least the pin is but with a bit of care I think they should last. After our first trip I sprayed a bit of WD40 on them to help clean them up. I'd recommend them for your trips with heavy current.

Reef hook
Perfect gear and it is all we needed for our drift diving!

pratico e comodo
pratico e comodo per fissare al gav la torcia ed utilizzare quest'ultima in libertà (tramite lo sgancio la torcia rimane utilizzabile "a tutto braccio") e sicurezza (la torcia rimane ancorata e non si rischia di perderla....)

Sturdy, works well
This compact reef hook system worked well on my recent 12 dive trip in Indonesia. Where the tickler stick could not hold, this reef hook did. I held mine by one hand, my wife hooked hers onto a D ring on her BCD and hovered in the current taking video.
