a nice light and functional leash
It's a good leash: lightweight, stretches when needed, and the end snap clips are the best plastic clips I have seen. I own a few (for different paddles) and I did have one break. The plastic coil pulled out of the end snap clip. If you are depending on it for life (if you are a long way out and cannot afford to lose your paddle), do yourself a favor and pull hard on the coil and make sure it does not come out of the end snap clip. Even if it does, it is relatively easy to put another stainless steel chrimp on it to beef it up. I do like these leashes though.

only for lighter stuff
I been using these for everything in my kayak but had 2 of them fail with heavier thing and a medium strength pull. They work good on light stuff.

Perfect Kayak Accessory
A must have for all kayakers. This is a neccessity to prevent losing your paddle. The coiled leash works extremely well.
