I use a Mac for work, and our docking stations at the office only export the two external screens as one screen, repeated with my Mac. This adapter lets me use the two external screens as two separate screens, which is all I need!

I'm not sure if it is the laptop or if I bought a faulty adapter. Either way, it doesn't work for me. Kind of a bummer. However, the make of the adapter is very sturdy and doesn't feel cheap which is nice so I'm giving it a positive review.Edit: It was a faulty motherboard. After I had it replaced, the adapter worked great! Making it five stars!

Product might work with other laptop brands or models, but with the ACER Concept D5 and my Oculus Rift S it doesn't serve its purpose.There is really no way for me to know if it is the adaptar in itself, my Oculus Rift, or the USB-C adapter form my laptop, but be aware of this.

Must have got a bad one or it just doesn't work with oculus rift s saw others say it works mabe iam doing something wring computer is vr ready and has a displayport cable usb c. i will update if i get it working

Okay, I’m sure this works on other systems and I can’t confirm whether or not this adapter actually works but I tried using an oculus rift S with ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 (2020) and it is not working. Just a fair warning if you’re trying to do the same thing I am I don’t know whether I got a “dud” or if it is just my system

I used this with my Rift S I bought back in 2020. I recently purchased myself an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G15 Ryzen 9 5900HS 3070 variant, and this does not have a thunderbolt port due to Ryzen not incorporating thunderbolt in any of their systems. At first, I had my doubts, since I only had regular USB C 3.0 ports, but when it arrived, it worked perfectly fine with my system. For Rift S Ryzen owners, make sure to check if your port supports DP. If the port does not work the first time, restart your system or close out oculus from Task Manager.

Anyone with a Rift S and no Display Port:This lil adapter works perfectly. The Oculus app may occasionally say the headset isn’t plugged in and tell you it’s either the USB3.0 or DisplayPort, just unplug and plug back in that cable and you’re good! My 2080 16gb DDR4 Razer laptop handles it well. Any questions please let me know

I like this product for the fact that without it i couldn't use my vr headset from oculus but i should have bought the same type but with a cord so it wont end up damaging my port on the laptop cause it always looks like it has some force pulling it down but its not a problem right now

Ich habe ein Gaming Laptop (Asus Rog Strix) mit folgenden Ports: 3 USB, 1 HDMI, 1 USB C ohne thunderbolt. Ich habe mit eine Oculus Rift S geholt für Beatsaber. Ich hatte meine Zweifel ob das funktioniert weil ich kein thunderbolt hab aber nachdem ich es gestern getestet habe muss ich sagen - es läuft. Es waren zwischendurch paar Zeitversetzte Ruckler im Spiel. Aber ich bin mir nicht sicher ob das an dem Stecker liegt. Ich teste morgen noch eine 2. Variante - mit einem HDMI Adapter.Ich weiß ich habe nach solchen Aussagen gesucht. Hoffe ich kann mit meiner Bewertung weiterhelfen.

Here to say that this works perfectly with the HTC Vive Cosmos. Using it with a Asus ROG Zephyrus S GX701.A display port to HDMI connector will not work for this setup. This connector saved my VR purchase.
