A treasure
Having grown up in St. Louis in the 1940s and been on radio, and been at the KMOX studios and listened to the station every day of my life, this certainly is the book I have been waiting for. Frank Absher has done a wonderful job of research, interviewing, organizing and writing. Almost anything anyone would want to know about KMOX is here and told in vivid detail, which a particularly great eye at the people involved and their personality, and the station's unique dynamics. The photos are wonderful and cover a wide span of eras beautifully. High recommended.

Great Content
Pleased to see pix of performers I recall from the 1940s to the 1980s. Hooray for Pappy Cheshire and all the way to Jack Carney

Total Flop
The many national awards that were won by KMOX was done under the news director JOHN ANGELIDES and NOT Rex Davis. Way to give the wrong man credit Frank Absher. And the fact that John Angelides wasn't even mentioned in this book just shows how inaccurate it is. Save your money potential buyers!
